Best NBA prop bets March 15: Bet on Anunoby, Wiggins to thrive as scorers

NBA prop bets

Saturday’s marquee NBA matchup features the New York Knicks and the Golden State Warriors, and that’s where my favourite prop bet of the night comes from.

The pregame narrative: OG Anunoby has been heavily involved as a shooter in recent games, and I don’t see why he’d stop now. I also like the over on the points prop for ex-Warrior Andrew Wiggins, while Nikola Vucevic is a justifiable fade candidate.

Check out my top NBA prop bets for March 15.

NBA prop bets

Best bet: Anunoby over 18.5 points (-118)

Anunoby is on a heater right now, cashing this bet in six of his past seven games.

Well, maybe “heater” isn’t the right word, since he’s only shooting 43.4% from the floor in that timeframe.

But in a way, that makes me feel even better about his chances to succeed tonight. There hasn’t been an unsustainable run of shooting efficiency to prop up Anunoby’s scoring binge.

What’s happened in these recent games is an uptick in shot volume. Anunoby now has 15-plus field goal attempts in eight straight games (after previously averaging 12.5 FGA this season).

That includes a significant bump in 3-point shot volume, too.

  • Season averages: 16.6 PPG, 6.1 threes/game
  • Past 7 games: 21.3 PPG, 8.9 threes/game

With Jalen Brunson set to miss a fourth consecutive game, I expect plenty more shots for Anunoby.

Anunoby and the Knicks face the Warriors on Saturday for the second time in two weeks. In their earlier matchup this month, Anunoby had 29 points on 11-of-19 shooting (4-for-9 from deep).

Key stat: Anunoby is averaging 20.0 points on 16.5 FGA in four games without Brunson this season, and he’s cashed this bet three times.

Best NBA picks

Wiggins over 20.5 points (-108): After a pair of quieter ramp-up games with his new squad, Andrew Wiggins has been a steady scoring presence for the Miami Heat.

Here’s what Wiggins has accomplished in his past eight games:

  • 21.1 PPG
  • 16.8 FGA
  • 20+ points in 6 of 8

Both the Heat and the Memphis Grizzlies are on back-to-backs on Saturday, so there are no rest advantages to speak of.

But the Grizzlies are worth targeting for Wiggins because they allow the second-most PPG to opposing small forwards (24.0), per Betting Pros.

Vucevic under 3.5 assists (-163): The Houston Rockets allow the fewest assists in the NBA overall (22.9/game), as well as the third-fewest to opposing centres (3.51). This is a worthwhile opportunity to fade Vucevic even at some rather juiced odds.

The Chicago Bulls’ big man hasn’t been particularly pass-happy, anyway. He’s gone under this assist total in six of his past seven games.

Last night, Houston allowed just 14 total assists to the Dallas Mavericks. No one on the Mavs had more than three assists in that game.

Pacers vs. Bucks SGP predictions March 15: Back guards Haliburton and Lillard at +350

Pacers vs. Bucks predictions

The Milwaukee Bucks and Indiana Pacers meet for the second time this week, with the matchup shifting to Fiserv Forum.

The pregame narrative: Indiana won at home on Tuesday thanks to some Tyrese Haliburton heroics. I expect the point guard to step up again, but in a loss. Taking the over on a teased-down Damian Lillard 3s line rounds out this +350 SGP.

Check out my Pacers vs. Bucks SGP predictions for March 15.

Bucks vs. Pacers predictions

Parlay: Bucks ML | Lillard 3+ threes | Haliburton 20+ points (+350)

Embed: #111260

Bucks moneyline (-220): Milwaukee snapped a three-game losing skid with a convincing win over Luka Doncic’s Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday.

LeBron James wasn’t playing but I’m hoping the Bucks can build off a strong offensive performance and keep things rolling.

I also don’t want to put too much stock into those three losses, considering one was against the juggernaut Cleveland Cavaliers and the other two came by a combined three points.

https://twitter.com/SportsCenter/status/1899643397448651155

This is how Milwaukee has performed following the all-star break.

  • 8-4 record
  • +6.4 net rating (6th in the NBA)
  • 109.1 defensive rating (2nd)

The Bucks will want to avenge their fluke loss from Tuesday, and they handled the Pacers twice earlier this season, winning those matchups by a combined 20 points.

NBA SGP legs

Lillard 3+ threes (-215): Lillard is in a bit of a shooting slump right now but I say he snaps out of it tonight.

The point guard has gone over 2.5 threes in six of his last seven games vs. the Pacers, averaging 4.0 makes on 38.9% shooting.

The outlier was on Tuesday, when he shot 2-for-7 from deep.

Lillard averages 9.1 attempted 3s per night, and I’m banking on him taking more than seven 3s this evening. And he should, considering both teams rank top 10 in pace, which NBA.com categorizes as possessions per game.

On the season, Lillard is 35-19 against this line (64.8%).

Haliburton 20+ points (-103): Fingers crossed we don’t get one of those weird games where Haliburton chooses to take five shots.

That’s always a risk with Indiana’s point guard but given tonight’s matchup, I doubt it happens.

Lillard can fill the bucket with the best of them, though his lacklustre defence has made Milwaukee a prime target for opposing point guards.

Check out how the Bucks’ defence ranks against that position, per Fantasy Pros:

  • 2023-24 season: 3rd-most PPG (25.89)
  • 2024-25 season: Most PPG (26.17)
  • Last 30 days: 4th-most PPG (26.59)

Haliburton only dropped 14 points against the Bucks on Tuesday — and four of those came on a Hail Mary play as time was expiring — but it was also his first game back from a three-game injury absence.

He had cleared this milestone in five of eight games prior while averaging 23.4 PPG. In that span, he scored no fewer than 17 points.

Knicks vs. Warriors prop picks March 15: Bet on OG Anunoby and Steph Curry on Saturday

Knicks vs. Warriors prop picks

The New York Knicks take on the Golden State Warriors in San Francisco on Saturday.

The pregame narrative: Jalen Brunson remains sidelined for New York, and I expect OG Anunoby to step up and perform well in his absence. On the other end, look for Steph Curry to catch fire from beyond the arc.

Check out my Knicks vs. Warriors prop picks for March 15.

Knicks vs. Warriors prop picks

Best Bet: Anunoby over 26.5 PRA (-113)

Embed: #111257

This has all the makings of a smash play.

Anunoby is rolling right now, averaging 21.3 points, 5.9 rebounds and 3.4 assists (30.6 PRA) in his last seven games.

He’s cashed this mark in five of those contests, finishing with no fewer than 20 PRA.

That includes a game against the Warriors on March 5, when Anunoby logged 29 points, three rebounds and three assists.

Anunoby is averaging 17.4 field goal attempts during this seven-game stretch, which puts us in a great spot to clear this mark from a volume standpoint. He should keep firing at a high rate with Brunson sidelined.

And the small forward is in a good spot to rack up counting stats tonight as well. He’s had at least seven rebounds in three straight games and is averaging 41.0 minutes per night in March.

For better or worse, Tom Thibodeau loves to run his stars into the ground. That means Anunoby will have plenty of opportunities to stuff the stat sheet.

Key stat: Anunoby has cleared this mark in three of his last four games without Brunson.

Quick pick

Curry 5+ threes (-113): Curry is on fire and has a Grade-A matchup against the Knicks.

  • New York has the second-worst 3-point defence in the NBA (37.4%).
  • Since the all-star break, Curry is averaging 4.7 threes on 10.9 attempts (43.3%).

Curry has cleared this mark in eight of his last nine games against the Knicks, going 4-for-13 from deep in the outlier.

He went 5-for-9 against them earlier this month and I expect even more volume on Saturday.

Kings vs. Warriors prop picks made at 9:46 a.m. ET on 03/15/2025.

Best NBA prop bets March 15: Bet on Anunoby, Wiggins to thrive as scorers

NBA prop bets

Saturday’s marquee NBA matchup features the New York Knicks and the Golden State Warriors, and that’s where my favourite prop bet of the night comes from.

Well, maybe “heater” isn’t the right word, since he’s only shooting 43.4% from the floor in that timeframe.

Wiggins over 20.5 points (-109): After a pair of quieter ramp-up games with his new squad, Andrew Wiggins has been a steady scoring presence for the Miami Heat.

Here’s what Wiggins has accomplished in his past eight games:

  • 21.1 PPG
  • 16.8 FGA

Vucevic under 2.5 assists (+125): The Houston Rockets allow the fewest assists in the NBA overall (22.9/game), as well as the third-fewest to opposing centres (3.51). This is a worthwhile opportunity to fade Vucevic at plus money.

The Chicago Bulls’ big man hasn’t been particularly pass-happy, anyway. He’s gone under this assist total in five of his past seven games.

Last night, Houston allowed just 14 total assists to the Dallas Mavericks. No one on the Mavs had more than three assists in that game.

Kings vs. Suns SGP predictions March 14: Expect Durant and Beal to deliver in high-scoring game

Kings vs. Suns predictions

Friday’s NBA slate ends with a high-stakes game between the Sacramento Kings and Phoenix Suns.

The pregame narrative: Both teams are fighting for a play-in spot in the West and I expect them to deliver scoring in this tilt. I also have plays on Phoenix stars Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal.

Check out my Kings vs. Suns +340 SGP predictions for March 14.

Kings vs. Suns predictions

Parlay: Over 229.5 points | Durant 2+ threes | Booker 2+ threes | Beal 2+ threes (+340)

Over 232.5 points (-143): Both teams hit overs at a greater than 50% rate.

On no rest, which is what the Kings are facing after surrendering 130 points last night, Sacramento is 8-4 to the over. That 66.7% rate is among the highest in the NBA.

We’re mixing two top-10 offences and one of the worst defences in the NBA (Phoenix is 27th in defensive rating).

The Kings are on the second half of a back-to-back and the Suns have their three leading scorers healthy.

I expect the buckets to flow freely tonight.

  • The over on this total has hit in three of each team’s last four games.
  • These teams have played twice this season. The first game saw a total of 245 points and the second game landed on 231.

NBA SGP legs

Durant 2+ threes (-385): The veteran has nailed three-plus threes nine times in his last 15 games.

You could play that at -115 but I’m electing to go a safer route.

Durant is 13-2 vs. this line over that same 15-game stretch, including a 10-2 mark coming out of the break.

The 36-year-old forward is shooting more threes than ever and converting at a 41.2% clip this season.

Against the worst 3-point-defending team in the NBA, Durant should have little trouble getting to this number again.

Booker 2+ threes (-375): I recommended Booker over 2.5 threes in my top prop picks for Friday’s NBA action, but am electing to drop it down one for this SGP.

Like Durant, Booker has gotten to three often lately, which means two has been quite achievable for him.

Booker has canned two-plus threes in 16 of his last 20 games and 72% of his contests this season.

Beal 2+ threes (-134): You notice a theme here?

Beal isn’t as automatic as his teammates but we can get good value here in a plus 3-point-shooting matchup.

When Beal faced the Kings in November, he took double-digit attempts from deep and nailed three.

He has drilled two-plus in more than half of his games and only two teams allow more 3-point attempts than the Kings.

I expect Phoenix, the fourth-best 3-point-shooting team in the NBA, to exploit this tonight and be chucking from long range.

And no players on the Suns are going to have the ball as much — or take more shots — than these three.

Kings vs. Suns predictions made at 3:43 p.m. ET on 03/14/2025.

Raptors vs. Jazz SGP predictions March 14: Target Markkanen, Kessler at +360

Raptors vs. Jazz predictions

The Toronto Raptors head West to face a fellow bottom-feeder on Friday night, the Utah Jazz.

The pregame narrative: Neither of these teams play particularly good defence so I’m banking the over on the game total in this +360 same-game parlay. The SGP includes picks on Lauri Markkanen and Walker Kessler.

Check out my Raptors vs. Jazz SGP predictions for March 14.

Raptors vs. Jazz predictions

Parlay: Over 234 points | Markkanen 18+ points | Kessler to record a double-double (+360)

Embed: #111186

Over 234 points (-113): This goes against the recent trend of the Raptors, who have gone under this total in five of their past six games.

The opposite can be said for Utah, though. The club has surpassed this total in five of its last seven.

If I look at this game from a broader view, it’s between two bottom-10 defences with a load of injuries, especially on the Toronto side.

While the organizations are looking to tank, the young guys and players on two-way contracts will be looking to play well and secure a permanent spot on an NBA roster.

It’s difficult picking a side here with all the chaos among the lineups, but I feel good predicting a lot of points in this matchup.

NBA SGP legs

Markkanen 18+ points (-159): The Finnish forward didn’t play in Utah’s previous meeting with the Raptors due to injury, but he’s been good when available.

  • Markkanen has scored 17-plus points in five of his past seven games and at least 20 four times during that span.
  • He’s also scored 22-plus points in all four games vs. the Raptors as a member of the Jazz.

Since the injury bug has hit the Raptors hard, opposing power forwards have taken advantage.

Over the past 30 days, Toronto has allowed the eighth-most points to the position (23.96), per Fantasy Pros.

The Raptors could also be without Scottie Barnes (questionable) and Jakob Poeltl (out), two key pieces on defence.

Kessler to record a double-double (-143): Kessler is a beast on the glass, which was evident in a March 7 contest against the Raptors. He had 25 rebounds.

The big man has tallied double-digit rebounds in 12 of 14 games since Feb. 1, averaging a league-high 14.9 over that time.

He’s also averaging 12.9 points in that span. He has just seven double-doubles in that month and a half but fell short by one basket or rebound four different times.

Kessler has a high floor as both a scorer and rebounder right now and I’m looking to jump in while Poeltl is absent for Toronto.

Lakers vs. Nuggets prop picks March 14: Tail Nikola Jokic, fade Jamal Murray on Friday night

Lakers vs. Nuggets prop picks

I’m tailing Nikola Jokic in a game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets on Friday night.

The pregame narrative: The MVP candidate is making a push for his fourth award in five years and I’m backing him to have a showcase performance. Meanwhile, I’ll fade a banged-up Jamal Murray in a tough matchup.

Check out my Lakers vs. Nuggets prop picks for March 14.

Lakers vs. Nuggets prop picks

Best Bet: Jokic over 27.5 points (-120)

Last time Jokic played the Lakers, it wasn’t pretty:

  • 12 points
  • 2-of-7 from the field

That was tied for his season low in shot attempts so I’m comfortable saying that was an outlier. If we go back to Nov. 23, Jokic had 34 points on 12-of-20 shooting in his first meeting with L.A.

The Serbian big man has 30-plus points in three of his past four games. He’s averaging 29.0 points per game overall so this mark is below his nightly standard.

One thing worth noting is that Jokic is dealing with an elbow injury but is listed as probable for Friday.

There’s also blowout potential here with LeBron James out again and the Lakers playing the second half of a road back-to-back.

For that reason, Los Angeles is a hefty 14-point underdog but Denver’s injury report is littered with game-time decisions so one or two starters sitting out would greatly benefit the Lakers and Jokic’s usage.

Quick pick

Murray under 20.5 points (-108): The point guard is one of the Denver starters listed as questionable for tonight’s contest.

Even if he does play, this is a tough matchup.

  • The Lakers allow the third-fewest points per game to point guards (23.19).
  • Murray has scored 20 or fewer points in two games vs. Los Angeles this season.

On top of that, he’s currently playing through a knee injury and went 3-1 on this wager over the past four games.

This is a great spot to fade the Canadian.

Murray under 20.5 points (-110): The point guard is one of the Denver starters listed as questionable for tonight’s contest.

Best NBA prop bets March 14: Back Devin Booker and big men Rudy Gobert, Evan Mobley

NBA prop bets

Two big men and Devin Booker represent Friday’s top NBA prop picks for the 10-game slate.

The pregame narrative: I trust Booker to get his outside shot going vs. the Sacramento Kings and like Evan Mobley and Rudy Gobert to produce in different ways.

Check out how I’m betting on these three in the best NBA prop bets for March 14.

NBA prop bets

Best bet: Gobert 10+ rebounds (-127)

Embed: #111245

This will mark Gobert’s third game since returning from a back injury that sidelined him for nearly a month.

He corralled eight rebounds in 20 minutes before seeing a significant spike in minutes his last time out.

Gobert is coming off a 10-rebound effort in 30 minutes, marking the seventh time in his last 10 games that he’s secured double-digit rebounds.

That’s been a very achievable number for him to hit both this season and throughout his career.

  • Gobert has 10-plus rebounds in 60% of his games this season. The implied probability of this line is 55.95%.
  • The Minnesota Timberwolves big man is averaging 10.4 rebounds per game, marking the 10th consecutive season he’s hit the double-figure mark.

Minnesota has the rest advantage tonight against the Orlando Magic, who are below average in rebounding rate.

Key stat: Gobert had a 12-rebound double-double vs. Orlando in January.

Best NBA picks

Booker over 2.5 threes (-109): The Kings have allowed 130-plus points in consecutive games and were obliterated from long range in each outing (both losses).

And one of those was last night, setting up a difficult back-to-back situation. The Phoenix Suns have been disappointing but are a top-10 offence in the NBA.

Sacramento’s last two games defending the 3-ball:

  • Vs. NY: 22 threes, 56.4 3P%
  • Vs. GS: 22 threes, 55.0 3P%

Booker has cleared this line in 10 of his last 18 and just over 50% of his games this season.

The Kings allow the third-most triples per game and rank last in opponent 3-point percentage.

Booker should be firing from deep tonight. He’s averaging the most attempts from long range in his career and is fourth in the NBA in minutes.

The all-star cleared this line on 10 attempts in an earlier meeting between these teams in November.

Mobley over 21.5 points (-110): Darius Garland is an obvious guy to step up without Donovan Mitchell.

But he’s also going to exert tremendous energy defending the Memphis Grizzlies’ dangerous backcourt duo of Ja Morant and Desmond Bane.

I’m more interested in betting on Mobley to deliver an uptick in scoring in a matchup that features tonight’s biggest total (244.5).

  • Mobley has averaged an extra three minutes of playing time in five games without Mitchell this season, per StatMuse.
  • His scoring average has gone up 4.5 points in those games to 23.0, and he’s hit the 20-point mark all five times.
  • These teams met in February and produced 252 points. Mobley scored 25 over a game-high 36 minutes.

Now Open! The 2025 Un-Bustable Bracket Challenge: Rules, Prizes, FAQs

Everyone knows that feeling of having their March Madness bracket busted. The No. 2 seed you took to make it to the Final Four just lost in the first round.

And to make matters worse, your Cinderella pick is also heading home.

That’s a no-fun bracket. So why not enter the Un-Bustable Bracket Challenge, a contest that lives up to its name and comes with a $2,500 grand prize!

Fill out your bracket before the tournament begins and earn points for every correct pick. At the end of each round, you continue to make new picks — even if your picks from the previous round have been eliminated.

The difference with this challenge is that your bracket is never busted!

Embed: #111182

The Scoring

Correct picks made at the start of the tourney are worth the most, but our Un-Bustable Bracket allows you to continue to score with your amended picks, too.

A total of 64 points are up for grabs in each round. Correct picks in the Round of 64 are worth two points each, while correct points in the Round of 32 are worth four, and so on.

Let’s say before the Round of 64 begins, you pick Duke to win this year’s tournament and they end up winning. That would be worth a total of 126 points.

But what if Duke were to lose in the Elite Eight? In that case, you would have received just 14 total points from them.

Un-Bustable Bracket Challenge points breakdown

Now — with Duke eliminated — you’ll want to pick another team to win. Let’s say you switch to the UCLA Bruins, who have hypothetically advanced to the Final Four.

If UCLA were to end up winning, that would be worth a total of six points (two from the Final Four and four from the Final).

Un-Bustable Bracket Challenge: ENTER NOW HERE

The Prizes

  • The Bracket Challenge Grand Prize is a $2,500 award to the leading point-getter after the tournament.
  • The top five point leaders after each round will receive $50 in Free Bets on the NorthStar Bets Platform. Scores are cumulative up to the end of the round. The top-five points leaders at the end of each round will be determined by their total score, not the round total.
  • In the event of ties for the round prizes or the Grand Prize, the player with the most correctly predicted wins for higher seeds will win (No. 16 seed being the highest possible selection).

Un-Bustable Bracket Challenge FAQs

Q: “How do I register for NorthStar Bets’ Un-Bustable Bracket Challenge?”

Q: “Where can I find my bracket within the NorthStar Bets platform?”

Q: “What are the deadlines for submitting my picks?”

  • Users can make picks up until one hour before the first game of each round for the full allotment of points. Once that deadline passes, picks for that specific round will be locked.

Q: “Can I change my picks once the deadline has passed?”

  • Once the deadline has passed, users can still change their selections for the following rounds. For example, once the Round of 64 is locked, alterations can still be made to the Round of 32 and onward. But remember, switching picks once the round has begun will make them worth fewer points.

Q: “Can I change my pick while a game is in progress?”

  • You cannot change a pick involving a team in the middle of a game.

Q: “Is there a limit to the number of changes I can make to my bracket?”

  • No, there is no limit to the number of changes you can make to your bracket.

Q: “Where can I find the standings?”
