I&#8217;m targeting a pair of players running hot, making bets on Pascal Siakam and Anfernee Simons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-8f1effd0-db18-40a8-916e-091372420d9e\">Check out my top NBA prop picks for Jan. 19, featuring a prediction on Norman Powell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"acq_only\"><strong>-&gt; <a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNjY1NzMyJnA9MzExMjU%3D\">Join NorthStar Bets &amp; start betting on the NBA<\/a>!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-0a4ee124-09d4-4260-81c9-fd6fe232dbb3\">NBA prop picks Jan. 19<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-479767b6-5872-497b-ac44-239c07c7e3d5\"><strong>Best bet: Siakam over 34.5 PRA (-125)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Siakam is on a tear, clearing this line in three straight and six of eight games this month.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He\u2019s contributing across the board, too, providing some cushion if he\u2019s light in one of these statistical areas tonight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Siakam is averaging 24.3 points, 8.1 rebounds and 4.5 assists in January. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>He\u2019s hit the 30-point mark twice, corralled double-digit rebounds twice, and dished out five-plus assists in more than half his games.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"acq_only\"><strong>-&gt; <a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNjcxODg0JnA9MzEwMjU%3D\">Bet on tonight&#8217;s NBA slate now<\/a>!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the Indiana Pacers aren\u2019t a great rebounding team, neither are the Philadelphia 76ers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The once fearsome rebounder Joel Embiid (questionable) is scoring again, but he\u2019s contributing little on the boards this season. So the presence of Embiid does little to curb Siakam\u2019s rebounding upside.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-479767b6-5872-497b-ac44-239c07c7e3d5\"><strong>Key stat<\/strong>: Opposing power forwards have thrived on the glass vs. the Sixers, who allow the second-most rebounds to the position in the NBA (per Betting Pros).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-479767b6-5872-497b-ac44-239c07c7e3d5\"><a href=\"cacheembed:122874\">Embed: #122874<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Best NBA picks<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Simons over 13.5 points (-118):<\/strong> The first-year Boston Celtic has struggled in this matchup, falling under this number in all three games vs. the Detroit Pistons this season.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And that\u2019s not at all surprising. Simons is streaky, is playing in a reduced\/reserve role since leaving the Portland Trail Blazers, and the Pistons have the NBA\u2019s No. 2 defensive rating.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"acq_only\"><strong>-&gt; <a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNjcxODg0JnA9MzEwMjU%3D\">At NorthStar Bets: Wager on NBA props, futures &amp; more<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But Simons is having his best shooting month of the season and can pile up points in a hurry as a long-range threat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Simons is shooting 49.2% from the field and 51.4% from deep in January, his best totals of any month this season.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The 6-foot-3 guard is averaging 4.1 triples in January, the fifth-best mark in the NBA (per StatMuse).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>He has cleared this total eight times in nine games this month and is 9-1 vs. this line over his last 10 contests.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">NBA player prop predictions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Powell over 23.5 points (<b>-113)<\/b><\/strong>: Like Simons, Powell&#8217;s ability to get going from 3-point land helps lead to some huge scoring outbursts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But he&#8217;s also more consistent, logs big minutes as the Miami Heat&#8217;s leading scorer, and is having the best season of his career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"acq_only\"><strong><strong>-&gt; <a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNjY1NzMyJnA9MzExMjU%3D\">See tonight&#8217;s NBA moneyline odds, spreads &amp; game totals<\/a><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Powell is averaging 23.8 points and is an excellent shooter from several areas of the court. He&#8217;s just outside the top 10 in true shooting percentage among guards. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Helping his usage and hopefully his scoring is the absence of Tyler Herro.
