Elsewhere, I&#8217;m targeting Detroit Red Wings defenceman Moritz Seider to find the stat sheet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Check out my NHL prop picks for Oct. 31.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"acq_only\"><strong>-&gt; <a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNjY1NzMyJnA9MzExMjU%3D\">Join NorthStar Bets to start betting on the NHL<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">NHL prop picks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Best Bet: Seider to record a point (+110)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Detroit has been one of the early surprises this season, compiling a stellar 8-3-0 record through 11 games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, the Red Wings head west to take on a defensively suspect Anaheim Ducks squad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Anaheim allowed the most chances (66.73) and shots (31.86), and the second-most xG (3.46) on a 60-minute basis last season, per Natural Stat Trick. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The squad ranks 29th in xGA per 60 this season (3.65).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Seider only has four points \u2014 all assists \u2014 so far, but he has found the stat sheet in back-to-back games. He&#8217;s leading the team in ice time (25:17) and is a member of the squad&#8217;s top power play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"acq_only\"><strong>-&gt; <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNjcxODg1JnA9MzEwMjY%3D\"><strong>Bet on Seider and the Red Wings tonight<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Getting that much playing time is a boon for this market, especially against the Ducks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key stat:<\/strong> Seider cashed this bet in both games against Anaheim last season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"cacheembed:120496\">Embed: #120496<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">NHL predictions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong>Ovechkin<\/strong> to score 1+ goals (+106):<\/strong> Ovechkin made history last year against the Islanders by netting goal No. 895, passing Wayne Gretzky for the all-time record.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, he has a chance to score his 900th goal against the same team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Great 8 has only scored twice through 10 games. But he is still receiving first-line minutes and ranks among the top of Washington&#8217;s forwards in several key offensive categories:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1st in shot attempts (67)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1st in scoring chances (35)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2nd in shots (22)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Ovechkin&#8217;s 9.8% shooting percentage is well below his career baseline.
