For Toronto, take the value on Scottie Barnes&#8217; assists prop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-8f1effd0-db18-40a8-916e-091372420d9e\">Check out these Raptors vs. Mavericks picks for the season opener on Oct. 26 in Dallas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"acq_only\"><strong>-> <a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.com\/promoRedirect?key=ej0xMzUyNTA0MiZsPTEzNTI1MDAwJnA9ODMzNw%3D%3D\">Join NorthStar Bets and start betting on the NBA today!<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-0a4ee124-09d4-4260-81c9-fd6fe232dbb3\">Raptors vs. Mavericks picks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-479767b6-5872-497b-ac44-239c07c7e3d5\"><strong>Best bet:<\/strong> <strong><strong>Barnes over 4.5 assists <\/strong>(-163)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-479767b6-5872-497b-ac44-239c07c7e3d5\">This feels like Barnes&#8217; floor as a playmaker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The power forward has averaged 5.8 assists or better for three straight seasons.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Barnes averaged 6.0 assists on 9.0 potential assists through the first two games.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>So why are we getting such good value?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Well, there seems to be recency bias involved in this line, as Barnes fell under this mark in his recent matchup vs. the Milwaukee Bucks with three assists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But one poor performance doesn&#8217;t sway me from a number that&#8217;s well below Barnes&#8217; 2024-25 assist average (6.0).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"acq_only\"><strong>-> <a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.com\/promoRedirect?key=ej0xMzUyNTA0MiZsPTEzNTI1MDAwJnA9ODMzNw%3D%3D\">Bet on Scottie Barnes props at NorthStar Bets<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Mavericks are allowing 25.5 assists per game in the early going, and I think it&#8217;s fair to assume Barnes can record a handful of those.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Only Immanuel Quickley has more potential assists through two games. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Barnes has the potential to stuff the statsheet on Sunday, and it starts with his ability to find open teammates. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dallas is 0-2 in the early goings, struggling to find chemistry. The squad is coming off a 117-111 loss to the Washington Wizards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-479767b6-5872-497b-ac44-239c07c7e3d5\"><strong>Key stat<\/strong>: Barnes averaged 8.5 assists in two meetings with the Mavs last season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"acq_only\"><strong>-> <a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.com\/promoRedirect?key=ej0xMzUyNTA0MiZsPTEzNTI1MDAwJnA9ODMzNw%3D%3D\">Wager on Sunday&#8217;s loaded eight-game NBA slate<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Flagg prop bet<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong><strong>Flagg over 26.5 points\/rebounds\/assists <\/strong><\/strong>(-118)<\/strong>: Flagg has cleared this mark in one of two NBA games to start his career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He struggled in his first game, recording 10 points on 4-of-13 shooting to go along with 10 rebounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Flagg bounced back nicely in his second contest, scoring 18 points while adding five rebounds and six assists (29 PRA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That second game is what I expect to be his floor moving forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"acq_only\"><strong>-> <a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.com\/promoRedirect?key=ej0xMzUyNTA0MiZsPTEzNTI1MDAwJnA9ODMzNw%3D%3D\">Bet on rookie sensation Cooper Flagg!<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At 6-foot-9, he can do it all. He averaged 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists in his one College season with Duke.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Flagg will continue to get every opportunity to succeed, as he is averaging 33 minutes of playing time a night so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If this game stays close, the rookie has a great chance to get past this number just on volume alone.
