After that, Real Madrid should have another dominant performance over a mid-table La Liga side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Check out this weekend&#8217;s best European soccer predictions for games on Oct. 19, 2025, featuring a pick on AC Milan vs. Fiorentina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Soccer predictions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Getafe vs.<\/strong> <strong>Real Madrid<\/strong> (Oct. 19, 3 p.m. ET)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Best bet:<\/strong> <strong>Real Madrid halftime\/fulltime (+104)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I don&#8217;t think there&#8217;s a hotter team in Europe right now than Real Madrid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Spanish Giants are first in La Liga with seven wins and one loss this season.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Madrid is also 2-0-0 to begin the UCL league phase.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>That makes the side 9-0-1 overall to start the year, with the lone defeat coming against a formidable opponent in Atletico Madrid.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Los Blancos have handled lower-tier competition with ease, giving me confidence that they can dominate Getafe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The side has a 3-2-3 record through eight games with a negative goal differential (-2).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Getafe is coming off a loss to 11th-place Osasuna and recently got smoked 3-0 by Barcelona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Barca is the most comparable side to Madrid, sitting two points behind them atop the league standings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even on the road, Real Madrid should be able to grab an early lead and never look back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key stat:<\/strong> Los Blancos rank in the top two of La Liga for xG (17.9), Fotmob rating (7.30), big chances (28) and shots on target per match (6.5).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">EPL best bet<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Matchup: Tottenham vs. Aston Villa<\/strong> (Oct. 19, 9 a.m. ET)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tottenham to win (+110)<\/strong>: Across all competitions, Tottenham is undefeated in its past seven matches. That&#8217;s a good place to start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While Aston Villa is on a two-game win streak in the EPL, those results came at home against teams much worse than Tottenham.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Villa beat 14th-place Fulham 3-1 on Sept. 28.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The side then beat 18th-place Burnley, 2-1, the following week.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Wins are wins, so I can&#8217;t take too<em> <\/em>much away from Villa, but Tottenham provides a much steeper challenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Hotspur have the third-best goal differential in the EPL (+8) behind Manchester City and Arsenal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>They have conceded five goals in seven matches, tied for the second fewest in the Premier League.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Aston Villa has scored six times in seven games, showing its lack of offensive upside. On the road, it&#8217;s going to be hard to find a breakthrough. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At plus-money, I have to side with the better team at home that also carries a lot of momentum into Matchday 8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Serie A prediction<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Matchup: AC Milan vs. Fiorentina<\/strong> (Oct. 19, 2:45 p.m. ET)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fiorentina under 0.5 goals (+110):<\/strong> There are a few solid reasons to buy in on AC Milan holding a clean sheet this weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Milan has conceded just three goals in six Serie A fixtures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The side held clean sheets in four of the past five matches. Only first-place Napoli was able to score once in its 2-1 loss to Milan.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fiorentina is currently in a relegation spot, and it struggles to score. It has four total goals in Serie A after six matches.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Things get even worse away from home.
