(93-69) finished the season with 10 more wins and a run differential four times greater than Cincinnati. That&#8217;s to be expected with a payroll discrepancy of $230 million. The Dodgers are heavily favoured in Game 1 with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/blake_snell\/pitching-stats\">Blake Snell<\/a> pitching opposite <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/hunter_greene\/pitching-stats\">Hunter Greene<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Check out my +335 Reds vs. Dodgers predictions, featuring slugger <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/freddie_freeman\/batting-stats\">Freddie Freeman<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reds vs. Dodgers predictions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Parlay: Under 9.5 | Freeman over 1.5 bases | Greene over 4.5 Ks (+335)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNTc4NzU5JnA9MjM3Njk%3D\">Under 9.5 runs (-455)<\/a>:<\/strong> Cincinnati eked its way into the postseason mainly because of a generational collapse by the New York Mets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Reds did manage to go 14-11 in September, but they posted a .694 team OPS that month, which was the second-worst mark among all playoff teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And on the season, Cincinnati ranks 24th in wRC+ (92) and ISO (.146), as well as 23rd in K rate (23.3%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Simply put, its offence is anemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Snell has been on fire since returning from injury in August, posting a 2.09 ERA in his last eight starts. All but one of those games went under this alternate total, and he should cruise again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cincinnati has its own ace starting, and he&#8217;s been lights out in September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2.64 ERA<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>.152 opponent BA<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>11.2 K\/9<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Eight of Greene&#8217;s last 10 starts have gone under this mark. Expect a low-scoring pitchers&#8217; duel.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul id=\"block-10146156-2d6b-49a8-b097-37743fd550b5\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/sports-hub\/baseball\/mlb?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_campaign=sportsbook_mlb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Full MLB betting markets<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/article\/mlb-injury-report?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_campaign=injury_reports\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>MLB injury report<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/top-players\/hitting\/OPS-on-base_plus_slugging?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_campaign=stats_pages\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>MLB stats &amp; standings<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"cacheembed:118558\">Embed: #118558<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">MLB SGP legs<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNTc4NzU5JnA9MjM3Njk%3D\">Greene over 4.5 Ks (-315)<\/a>:<\/strong> Greene&#8217;s sparkling 11.2 K\/9 rate in September is just the tip of the iceberg. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The righty&#8217;s 99.5 mph fastball ranks in the 99th percentile for velocity, and his slider has a 46.9% whiff rate \u2014 the ninth-highest mark of any qualified pitch this season, per Baseball Savant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Greene ranks in the 93rd percentile in K rate (31.4%) and 90th percentile for whiff rate (31.4%), and has gone over this mark in seven of his last nine starts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the outliers was a three-strikeout game against L.A. on Aug. 25, but that doesn&#8217;t worry me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Greene still has a respectable 24.8% K rate against the Dodgers lineup, clearing this mark in both previous starts against them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNTc4NzU5JnA9MjM3Njk%3D\">Freeman over 1.5 bases (+135)<\/a>:<\/strong> This is the leg that&#8217;s doing a ton of heavy lifting, more than quadrupling the parlay&#8217;s odds from -195 to +335.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And with Freeman&#8217;s postseason pedigree, I think that&#8217;s a steal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Canadian slugged .519 last October, matching his career playoff mark.
