The loser will be on thin ice after this, while the winner will salvage some hope that it can turn things around. Which team can score a victory in primetime?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Check out my Jets vs. Dolphins same-game parlay predictions for Week 4 below, featuring <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/nfl\/player-stats\/jaylen_waddle\">Jaylen Waddle<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/nfl\/player-stats\/braelon_allen\">Braelon Allen<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Jets vs. Dolphins SGP predictions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SGP: Waddle over 48.5 receiving yards | Allen over 17.5 rushing yards | Over 37.5 points (+325)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Waddle over 48.5 receiving yards (-117): <\/strong>This shapes up as a plus matchup for Waddle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>New York\u2019s corner depth is thin. With Sauce Gardner likely shadowing Tyreek Hill in this contest, Waddle should find room to operate against the rest of the Jets\u2019 corners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brandon Stephens is the starter opposite Gardner. He doesn\u2019t tend to shadow receivers, but he has struggled against the receivers he has seen most frequently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Week 1 vs. Calvin Austin:<\/strong> Four receptions, 57 yards, 63.3% shadow rate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Week 2 vs. Keon Coleman:<\/strong> Three receptions, 34 yards, 25.0% shadow rate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Week 3 vs. Sterling Shepard: <\/strong>Four receptions, 34 yards, 32.1% shadow rate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>With Waddle likely being the best receiver Stephens has faced to this point, there\u2019s an opportunity for him to have a massive day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Waddle has historically done very well in this matchup. Those were close, tightly contested games decided by just two points each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Allen received just two carries in Week 2\u2019s blowout loss to the Buffalo Bills, an outing where the Jets were forced to abandon the run early.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Dolphins are just 2.5-point favourites in Week 4, meaning we\u2019re likely headed for a close game. That bodes well for Allen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So does Miami\u2019s porous run defence. Miami is tied for ceding the 10th-most yards per rush attempt (4.5) and the fifth-most rushing yards per game (145.0).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Allen has an impressive 41 rushing yards on just eight carries across his last two games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Over 37.5 points (-275): <\/strong>I\u2019ve teased the total down, and I\u2019m happily taking the over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Neither defence has shown that it\u2019s any good this year. Miami is tied for allowing the third-most yards per play (6.1), while New York is tied for surrendering the 13th most (5.4).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Conversely, both offences have proven to be competent. The Dolphins have scored 20-plus points in each of their last two outings.
