Denver can even things up atop the AFC West with a win on the road Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Check out my Broncos vs. Chargers +425 <a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNTcxMDc3JnA9MjMxODQ%3D\">same-game parlay<\/a> predictions for Week 3, featuring <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/nfl\/player-stats\/bo_nix\">Bo Nix<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/nfl\/player-stats\/troy_franklin\">Troy Franklin<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Broncos vs. Chargers SGP predictions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SGP: Chargers ML | Nix over 19.5 rushing yards | Franklin 30+ receiving yards (+425)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNTcxMDc3JnA9MjMxODQ%3D\"><strong><strong><strong><strong>Chargers ML<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong> (-148)<\/strong>:<\/a> This has the makings of a close game on paper, but I give the Chargers the edge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L.A. has looked really good through two weeks. First, it beat the Kansas City Chiefs by six in Brazil and then stifled the Las Vegas Raiders 20-9 on Monday Night Football.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The defence has allowed two touchdowns while forcing three turnovers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The offence has been cooking, too. Justin Herbert has thrown five TD passes, no interceptions and has the second-best passer rating in the NFL (127.8).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other side, the Broncos have a strong defence, but they&#8217;re coming off a game in which they allowed 473 yards to the Indianapolis Colts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Behind Bo Nix, the offence also feels a step behind. The second-year quarterback has thrown four TDs, three INTs and has an inferior passer rating of 82.0. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In my opinion, the Chargers are the better team right now on both sides of the ball and hold home-field advantage in this contest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"cacheembed:118099\">Embed: #118099<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/sports-hub\/american_football?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_campaign=sportsbook_nfl\">Full NFL markets<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/nfl\/standingshttps:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/nfl?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_campaign=sportsbook_nfl\">NFL player &amp; team stats<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/article\/nfl-injury-report\"><strong>NFL injury report<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">NFL SGP picks<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNTcxMDc3JnA9MjMxODQ%3D\"><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>Nix over 19.5 rushing yards<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong> <strong>(-114)<\/strong><\/a>: Nix isn&#8217;t known for his speed, but he&#8217;s an efficient runner out of the backfield.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The QB ran for 20 yards on three attempts in Week 1 and 18 yards on eight attempts in Week 2.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>As a rookie, he ran for 430 yards and cleared this mark in 10 of 17 games.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Chargers&#8217; defence only blitzes 12.6% of the time. That means Nix should have time in the pocket and can set up some big runs if his receivers are covered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Patrick Mahomes ran for 57 yards on six rushes against L.A. in Week 1, then Geno Smith cleared this line in Week 2, rushing for 20 yards on five carries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The latter is nowhere near as athletic as Nix in his age-34 season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNTcxMDc3JnA9MjMxODQ%3D\"><strong><strong><strong><strong>Franklin 30+ receiving yards<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong> (-250)<\/a>:<\/strong> The fourth-round draft pick is quickly earning his keep as an important part of Denver&#8217;s offence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He played 59% of snaps in Week 1 and then led all Broncos receivers in Week 2 with an 83% snap share. That was surprisingly higher than Courtland Sutton (78%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Franklin has earned the extra time. Look at his stats to start the season:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Week 1: <\/strong>Four receptions (six targets), 44 yards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Week 2:<\/strong> Eight receptions (nine targets), 89 yards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>He may not end the year as the Broncos&#8217; WR1, but he&#8217;s certainly solidified himself as a strong second option for Nix in this offence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And if he&#8217;s going to continue getting more opportunities, <a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNTcxMDc3JnA9MjMxODQ%3D\">this line<\/a> is far too low.
