He&#8217;ll have a shot to keep his hot streak going against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Later on, look for Trevor Story to shine on Sunday Night Baseball.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-d0873b89-4dfa-47d6-9954-56140c451c77\">Check out my top MLB prop bets for Sept. 14, featuring a prediction on Jake Cronenworth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-22b3784f-32c2-400a-beef-1578a991be49\">MLB prop bets<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.com\/sportsbook\/sports\/baseball\/competitions\/10065\"><strong>Full MLB betting markets<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.com\/sportsbook\/news\/article\/mlb-injury-report\"><strong>MLB injury report<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.com\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/top-players\/hitting\/OPS-on-base_plus_slugging\"><strong>MLB player stats<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.com\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/standings\/division\"><strong>MLB standings<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-0c59b741-4781-48d8-8ffa-d93f8ee90c10\"><strong>Best bet: <strong>Devers to score (+115)<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Devers gets on base a lot thanks to his 97th-percentile walk rate (15.4%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His .378 on-base percentage currently ranks as the best in his nine-year career and routinely puts him in a good position to score.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And that&#8217;s led to some incredible results over the last 16 games:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>.311 batting average<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>.425 OBP<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>19 runs scored<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Tyler Glasnow will start for the Los Angeles Dodgers, and I&#8217;ll give him credit \u2014 he&#8217;s been a beast this season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But Devers has the upper hand in the head-to-head history. The slugging infielder has reached base 10 times in 24 plate appearances vs. Glasnow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That&#8217;s probably because he tends to enjoy a platoon advantage. He has an even better .398 OBP this season against right-handed pitchers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-13bf476e-3f27-4d52-86f2-70dff07fd638\"><strong>Key stat<\/strong>: Devers is 13-3 against this wager over the past 16 games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-ebade6eb-0e6a-4675-8cbc-3a4396c11ac4\">Best MLB picks<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Story over 1.5 bases (+100)<\/strong>: In primetime, I expect Story to come through for the Boston Red Sox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He&#8217;s gone hitless in this series so far, but this is a great chance to get back on track.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even including the slow start vs. the New York Yankees, Story is raking over the past 11 games:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>.302 BA<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>.883 OPS<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>23 total bases<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, he gets to face an inexperienced Will Warren on the mound. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s a short sample size, but in five at-bats vs. Warren, Story has two hits, one of which was a home run. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cronenworth to score (+115)<\/strong>: Cronenworth caught my eye as a bottom-of-the-order hitter with a lot of value based on how he&#8217;s playing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In his past 19 games, he has a .296 BA and a whopping .451 OBP.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cronenworth has more walks (14) than Ks (10) over that span.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>He&#8217;s scored 11 runs and cashed this wager 10 times.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This series is being played in San Diego, but the Colorado Rockies&#8217; weak pitching staff can be taken advantage of even away from Coors Field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Colorado will start German Marquez, whose 6.31 ERA is third-worst in MLB among pitchers with over 100 innings of work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 21 at-bats vs. Marquez, Cronenworth has a .286 average and a 1.062 OPS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-571cf986-8d14-4776-b519-20fa27d04fec\"><em>MLB prop picks made at 1:03 p.m. ET on 09\/14\/2025<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Sunday, two all-star bats headline my MLB prop bets.
