I expect him to stay hot against the weak pitching he&#8217;ll see from the Colorado Rockies tonight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-d0873b89-4dfa-47d6-9954-56140c451c77\">Check out my favourite MLB prop bets for Sept. 8, featuring predictions on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/ryan_bergert\/pitching-stats\">Ryan Bergert<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/julio_rodriguez\/batting-stats\">Julio Rodriguez<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/josh_naylor\/batting-stats\">Josh Naylor<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-22b3784f-32c2-400a-beef-1578a991be49\">MLB prop bets<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-0c59b741-4781-48d8-8ffa-d93f8ee90c10\"><strong>Best bet: Betts over 1.5 total bases (+106)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Betts has awoken at a critical time for the Dodgers, who are clinging to a one-game lead over the San Diego Padres in the NL West.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This will go down as the worst season of Betts\u2019 fantastic career, but he\u2019s been hitting well for the last month and is poised to end the year in good form.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since going 0-for-20 over a five-game stretch into early August, Betts has done this:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>.330\/.395\/.513 in 29 games&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>5 of his 16 homers&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Averaging 2 total bases\/game&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Betts is 18-11 vs. this line over that stretch and has cleared it in five of six games this month.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His Dodgers see Chase Dollander and the Colorado Rockies tonight.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The rookie Dollander has elite velocity, but his fastball has been clobbered. He\u2019s been far better outside of his home park, Coors Field, but still enters with several below-average metrics and a 6.77 ERA.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dollander has pitched poorly in two starts vs. Los Angeles, which will also get a crack at MLB\u2019s worst bullpen by second-half ERA (6.02).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-13bf476e-3f27-4d52-86f2-70dff07fd638\"><strong>Key stat<\/strong>: Betts has a 1.011 OPS over the last 15 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"cacheembed:117733\">Embed: #117733<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul id=\"block-10146156-2d6b-49a8-b097-37743fd550b5\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/sports-hub\/baseball\/mlb?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_campaign=sportsbook_mlb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Full MLB betting markets<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/article\/mlb-injury-report?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_campaign=injury_reports\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>MLB injury report<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/top-players\/hitting\/OPS-on-base_plus_slugging?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_campaign=stats_pages\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>MLB stats &amp; standings<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-ebade6eb-0e6a-4675-8cbc-3a4396c11ac4\">Best MLB picks<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bergert over 15.5 outs (+104)<\/strong>: The right-hander has been rolling since joining the Kansas City Royals at the trade deadline.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And tonight he\u2019ll get a weak offence at a pitcher\u2019s park, providing good value on a light line at plus money.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bergert has a 2.43 ERA in six starts with Kansas City, allowing two runs or fewer in every outing.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Over those six outings, he\u2019s 5-1 against this line with a 0.99 WHIP and above-average K rate.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Bergert gets the Cleveland Guardians, who are 28th in MLB in wRC+ (29th in the second half).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Progressive Field is a friendly pitching environment that&#8217;s been unkind to the Guardians. No team has scored fewer runs at home this year than Cleveland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rodriguez over 1.5 total bases (+100)<\/strong>: I&#8217;m ending today&#8217;s selections with picks on two Seattle Mariners, who see Miles Mikolas and the St. Louis Cardinals tonight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Rodriguez has been on a tear, hitting .333\/.348\/.634 since the start of August.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>He has 11 homers and 33 RBI, averaging 2.5 total bases per game over that stretch. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Mikolas is among the most hittable starters in the game. He rarely walks batters and has bottom-of-the-barrel whiff\/K numbers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rodriguez is 8-3 vs. this line over his last 11 games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Naylor 1+ RBI (+165)<\/strong>: Left-handed batters are hitting .280 and slugging .507 off Mikolas, who gets a great pitcher&#8217;s venue tonight (T-Mobile Park) but has been terrible on the road. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mikolas has a 6.79 ERA in 13 road starts, and opponents are hitting .327 off him. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Naylor hits for average, doesn&#8217;t strike out much, has a platoon advantage, and occupies a middle-of-the-order spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He&#8217;s slugging .625 to start the month.
