Now, the former will either leave four games up on the Bronx Bombers or just two. It&#8217;s a game oozing with pennant implications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Check out my Blue Jays vs. Yankees <a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNTc4NzU5JnA9MjM3Njk%3D\">predictions<\/a> for Sept. 7, featuring <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/bo_bichette\/batting-stats\">Bo Bichette<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/max_scherzer\/pitching-stats\">Max Scherzer<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Blue Jays vs. Yankees predictions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Parlay: Bichette 1+ hits | Scherzer over 5.5 Ks | Blue Jays ML (+360)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNTc4NzU5JnA9MjM3Njk%3D\">Bichette 1+ hits (-385)<\/a>:<\/strong> This leg has the shortest odds, but it&#8217;s one that I&#8217;m very confident about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bichette, who leads MLB with 181 hits, has been a machine at the plate this season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The shortstop is delivering at an impressive rate. Bichette has a knock in 18 of his last 20 games (33 total).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He&#8217;s been especially hot recently, producing nine hits in his last five contests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bichette hasn&#8217;t fared well against Yankees starter Max Fried (2-for-11), but I&#8217;m confident that Toronto&#8217;s top hitter will come through on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul id=\"block-10146156-2d6b-49a8-b097-37743fd550b5\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/sports-hub\/baseball\/mlb?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_campaign=sportsbook_mlb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Full MLB betting markets<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/article\/mlb-injury-report?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_campaign=injury_reports\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>MLB injury report<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/top-players\/hitting\/OPS-on-base_plus_slugging?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_campaign=stats_pages\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>MLB stats &amp; standings<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"cacheembed:117676\">Embed: #117676<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">MLB SGP legs<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNTc4NzU5JnA9MjM3Njk%3D\">Scherzer over 5.5 Ks (+102)<\/a>:<\/strong> Scherzer is coming off his worst start since joining the Blue Jays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And I think that makes me like this wager more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Mad Max&#8221; is one of MLB&#8217;s top competitors, and this game carries significant weight with the playoffs approaching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m confident he&#8217;s going to deal against the Yankees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Scherzer only lasted four innings in his last appearance, but had gone six-plus in each of his six previous outings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He hasn&#8217;t topped this total in six consecutive starts, but there&#8217;s reason to believe he&#8217;ll rack them up today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Yankees are as swing-happy as they come, averaging the fourth-most strikeouts per game (8.83). Scherzer had seven strikeouts against this squad on June 30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNTc4NzU5JnA9MjM3Njk%3D\">Blue Jays ML (+143)<\/a>:<\/strong> Lastly, I&#8217;m picking Toronto to win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a play against New York starter Fried, who hasn&#8217;t performed well against the Blue Jays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fried has allowed four runs in each of his last two starts against Toronto, losing both of those starts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Toronto has been sharp recently with Scherzer on the mound. It&#8217;s won in each of his last four appearances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ultimately, the Yankees live and die by Aaron Judge, and the team&#8217;s top slugger is slumping.
