Both the Guardians and Diamondbacks were on the wrong end of three-game sweeps over the weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Check out my Guardians vs. Diamondbacks <a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNTc4NzU5JnA9MjM3Njk%3D\">predictions<\/a>, including props on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/jose_ramirez\/batting-stats\">Jose Ramirez<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/geraldo_perdomo\/batting-stats\">Geraldo Perdomo<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Guardians vs. Diamondbacks predictions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Parlay: Ramirez over 1.5 bases | Perdomo under 1.5 bases | Guardians +0.5 F5 run line (+300)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNTc4NzU5JnA9MjM3Njk%3D\">Ramirez over 1.5 total bases (-113)<\/a>:<\/strong> Ramirez has nearly identical OPS outputs against righties and lefties, but the switch-hitting third baseman typically flashes more power from the left side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>vs. RHPs (as LHB): .525 SLG, 5.8 HRs per 100 plate appearances.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>vs. LHPs (as RHB): .493 SLG, 2.6 HRs per 100 plate appearances.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Ramirez has also put in some great work since the all-star break, with a 143 wRC+ in 28 games. He&#8217;s 15-13 vs. this prop in that span.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, the five-time Silver Slugger is 5-for-9 with a double and a home run against Arizona&#8217;s Zac Gallen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe src=\"https:\/\/tallysight.com\/new\/widget\/betslip\/1755541880352-1f12-777?id=884e9695-88c3-4882-bde8-4f05285f6e5a\" allowtransparency=\"true\" height=\"275px\" width=\"100%\" loading=\"lazy\" scrolling=\"auto\" style=\"border: 0; margin: 0 !important;\"><\/iframe><script async src=\"https:\/\/tallysight.com\/scripts\/widget-embed-min.js\"><\/script>\n\n\n\n<ul id=\"block-10146156-2d6b-49a8-b097-37743fd550b5\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/sports-hub\/baseball\/mlb?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_campaign=sportsbook_mlb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Full MLB betting markets<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/article\/mlb-injury-report?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_campaign=injury_reports\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>MLB injury report<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/top-players\/hitting\/OPS-on-base_plus_slugging?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_campaign=stats_pages\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>MLB stats &amp; standings<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">MLB SGP legs<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNTc4NzU5JnA9MjM3Njk%3D\">Perdomo under 1.5 total bases (-235)<\/a>:<\/strong> Perdomo is a tough guy to fade these days, as he has a 170 wRC+ since the all-star break (10th in MLB).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But a lot of Perdomo&#8217;s offensive value comes from his plate discipline rather than his pop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Perdomo ranks in the 94th percentile or better in K%, BB%, chase rate and whiff rate, per Baseball Savant.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>He ranks in the 42nd percentile in xSLG (.417), and is modestly over-performing based on his actual SLG (.437).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Perdomo has gone under 1.5 bases in 13 of his past 22 games.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Perdomo&#8217;s elite plate discipline blends well with the wildness of Williams, who has by far the highest walk rate of any qualified starter (4.71 BB\/9).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It wouldn&#8217;t be surprising for Perdomo to reach safely without putting the ball in play, thus failing to collect any bases along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNTc4NzU5JnA9MjM3Njk%3D\"><strong>Guardians +0.5 &#8211; first five innings<\/strong> (-139)<\/a>:<\/strong> Once this game gets to the bullpens, it&#8217;s anyone&#8217;s guess what will happen. But I think Williams gives the Guardians a good chance to win or tie the first five innings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 13 starts since the beginning of June, Williams has a 2.75 ERA. The Guardians are only 5-8 in those games, but the right-hander is 3-1 in his decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That&#8217;s why I&#8217;m taking the bullpen out of the equation by backing Cleveland on an F5 line rather than a full-game line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gallen, who&#8217;s limping through a career-worst year, has a 5.13 ERA in 13 starts since the beginning of June.
