The Dodgers are favoured in this contest behind <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/tyler_glasnow\/pitching-stats\">Tyler Glasnow<\/a>, but Yu Darvish has been dialled in over his recent starts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Check out my Padres vs. Dodgers <a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNTc4NzU5JnA9MjM3Njk%3D\">predictions<\/a>, including props on Glasnow and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/andy_pages\/batting-stats\">Andy Pages<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Padres vs. Dodgers predictions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Parlay: Under 9.5 runs | Glasnow over 5.5 Ks | Pages over 0.5 hits (+325)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNTc4NzU5JnA9MjM3Njk%3D\">Under 9.5 runs (-190)<\/a>:<\/strong> I decided to tease up the total and take the under behind two streaking pitchers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let&#8217;s start with Darvish. He started the season slowly off the IL, recording a 9.18 ERA over his first four starts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But take a look at his turnaround over his last three starts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>17.0 innings pitched<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2.12 ERA (2.88 FIP)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>18 Ks to only 2 walks allowed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>He&#8217;s been looking like prime Darvish again, and that should be a scary sight for the Dodgers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 234 total at-bats, L.A.&#8217;s offence has 47 hits. That equates to a .201 average.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Dodgers have a lot of lefty bats that struggle in this matchup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The most notable being Shohei Ohtani, who&#8217;s 1-for-11 off Darvish in his career with five Ks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;ll write more on Glasnow in my next pick, but just know he has a similarly dominant past against the Padres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe src=\"https:\/\/tallysight.com\/new\/widget\/betslip\/1755450091381-8cd2-307?id=41d96690-1bcc-44f4-ac28-37ddd24d1b3a\" allowtransparency=\"true\" height=\"275px\" width=\"100%\" loading=\"lazy\" scrolling=\"auto\" style=\"border: 0; margin: 0 !important;\"><\/iframe><script async src=\"https:\/\/tallysight.com\/scripts\/widget-embed-min.js\"><\/script>\n\n\n\n<ul id=\"block-10146156-2d6b-49a8-b097-37743fd550b5\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/sports-hub\/baseball\/mlb?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_campaign=sportsbook_mlb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Full MLB betting markets<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/article\/mlb-injury-report?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_campaign=injury_reports\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>MLB injury report<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/top-players\/hitting\/OPS-on-base_plus_slugging?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_campaign=stats_pages\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>MLB stats &amp; standings<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">MLB SGP legs<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNTc4NzU5JnA9MjM3Njk%3D\">Glasnow over 5.5 Ks (-118)<\/a>:<\/strong> Let&#8217;s begin with Glasnow&#8217;s history against the Padres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In 83 plate appearances, San Diego&#8217;s offence has more Ks (28) than hits (10), and it&#8217;s not close.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>That equals out to a .127 average and 33.7% K rate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The big righty has also been dealing over his past six starts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2.34 ERA<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>10.8 K\/9<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4-2 against this line<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>There really isn&#8217;t too much to think about here. Glasnow has shoved against San Diego in the past and is pitching at an elite level right now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Padres strike out the fewest times per game in the NL, but I don&#8217;t think it matters in this matchup.
