On the other side, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/taylor_ward\/batting-stats\">Taylor Ward<\/a> has been swinging a hot bat since late June and should be a threat to make noise at the plate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Check out my Mariners vs. Angels <a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNTc4NzU5JnA9MjM3Njk%3D\">predictions<\/a> in the form of a +330 same-game parlay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mariners vs. Angels predictions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Parlay: Gilbert over 6.5 Ks | Over 7.5 runs | Ward over 0.5 hits (+330)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNTc4NzU5JnA9MjM3Njk%3D\"><strong><strong><strong><strong>Gilbert over 6.5 strikeouts<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong> <\/strong>(-167)<\/a>:<\/strong> Gilbert is having another superb season, fueled in large part by his elite strikeout stuff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>98th-percentile K rate (36.3%)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>96th-percentile whiff rate (35.1%)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>13.1 K\/9<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Gilbert has missed some time and is therefore not a qualified pitcher. Otherwise, his 13.1 K\/9 would lead the majors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 13 starts this year, Gilbert has cashed this bet 10 times \u2014 including four of his past five.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, he went 2-0 vs. this prop against the Angels last season, totalling 17 Ks in those matchups. All five of those games finished with at least 12 total runs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seattle has also put forth a surprisingly adept lineup this year, ranking fourth in wRC+ (112).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Overs are an MLB-best 57-43-5 (57.0%) in Mariners games, per Team Rankings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I don&#8217;t expect a dominant outing from Angels starter Kyle Hendricks (5-7, 4.92 ERA). This over is 6-3 in his past nine starts, including a nine-run game when he faced the Mariners on June 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNTc4NzU5JnA9MjM3Njk%3D\"><strong>Ward over 0.5 hits<\/strong> (-150)<\/a><\/strong>:<\/strong> This bet is hovering near straight wager territory for me \u2014 even with a lot of extra juice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes, Gilbert is nasty.
