He&#8217;s tough to count on tonight, but I am banking on production from two hot bats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-d0873b89-4dfa-47d6-9954-56140c451c77\">Check out my top MLB prop bets for July 22, featuring predictions on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/corey_seager\/batting-stats\">Corey Seager<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/zach_neto\/batting-stats\">Zach Neto<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-22b3784f-32c2-400a-beef-1578a991be49\">MLB prop bets<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-0c59b741-4781-48d8-8ffa-d93f8ee90c10\"><strong>Best bet: Rodriguez under 5.5 strikeouts (-124)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Good luck figuring out which version of Rodriguez will show up.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The left-hander has been wildly inconsistent and runs into an Astros team that punishes the ball.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This looks like a terrible matchup for the 32-year-old veteran.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Astros are No. 2 in the majors in wRC+ vs. lefties.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Houston is No. 8 in wRC+ over the last 30 days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Only six teams have a lower K rate vs. LHPs.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Vs. Ginn and the Athletics\u2019 terrible bullpen tonight.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ginn\u2019s likely looking at a few frames after pitching out of the bullpen since June, but that assures the Rangers\u2019 No. 2 hitter one plate appearance against him at minimum.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And it will be a plus matchup with the platoon advantage. Ginn\u2019s career numbers vs. lefty batters: .336\/.402\/.588.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seager is batting a blistering .350\/.451\/.617 in July, clearing this number in 11 of 16 games.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He pounds righties (.875 OPS this year; .944 in 2024; 1.075 in 2023) and will see one of MLB\u2019s worst bullpens following Ginn.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Athletics relievers sport the second-worst ERA (5.43) in baseball and the fourth-highest opponent\u2019s batting average.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-310bddf4-d3c1-4fc6-8fe4-37281455da02\"><strong>Neto over 0.5 runs (+114)<\/strong>: I love this line for Neto, the Los Angeles Angels&#8217; leadoff hitter who&#8217;s on a heater and tied for fourth in the AL in runs scored.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Angels are smashing the ball (first in wRC+ the last 30 days), putting the 24-year-old in front of all of the club&#8217;s dangerous power bats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Neto has scored 19 runs in 17 games this month, crossing the plate in 11 different contests. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Even more impressive: Shohei Ohtani is the only player in baseball to score in a greater percentage of his starts this season.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Neto is batting .307 this month and getting on base at a .373 clip \u2014 his best marks of the season. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>His Angels see the New York Mets&#8217; Frankie Montas, who has made four starts, pitching well in two and awful in the others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Montas will have his moments, but he&#8217;s far from a pitcher to shy away from on this plus-money offering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-571cf986-8d14-4776-b519-20fa27d04fec\"><em>MLB prop picks made at 1 p.m. ET on 07\/22\/2025<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A fade on Arizona Diamondbacks starter Eduardo Rodriguez highlights Tuesday&#8217;s top MLB prop selections.
