Can New York make some of the ground back in the AL East?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Check out my Yankees vs. Blue Jays predictions, featuring <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/aaron_judge\/batting-stats\">Aaron Judge<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/carlos_rodon\/pitching-stats\">Carlos Rodon<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Yankees vs. Blue Jays predictions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Parlay: Over 7.5 runs | Judge over 1.5 bases | Rodon under 5.5 Ks (+300)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong><strong>Over 7.5 runs<\/strong> <\/strong>(-156):<\/strong> With two scorching hot offences going at it, I&#8217;ll happily opt for the over on a teased-down game total.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Yankees are averaging 6.4 runs in their last 10 games. The Blue Jays haven&#8217;t been quite as good, but still averaged a respectable 4.9 runs in the same span.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Toronto is also coming off a sweep over the San Francisco Giants, in which the Jays scored 6.0 runs per game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I can easily get behind a low total when I feel like both teams are playing well enough to go over alone, which is certainly the case here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That brings me to Kevin Gausman. The Blue Jays starter struggled against the Yankees this season, allowing eight runs over two starts (7.2 innings pitched). Both teams combined to score 30 runs in those two games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rodon was better in his start vs. Toronto, giving up two runs in 5.0 IP, but the game still went over this total, finishing 5-4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul id=\"block-10146156-2d6b-49a8-b097-37743fd550b5\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/sports-hub\/baseball\/mlb?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_campaign=sportsbook_mlb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Full MLB betting markets<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/article\/mlb-injury-report?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_campaign=injury_reports\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>MLB injury report<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/top-players\/hitting\/OPS-on-base_plus_slugging?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_campaign=stats_pages\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>MLB stats &amp; standings<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">MLB SGP legs<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong>Judge over 1.5 bases<\/strong> (-127):<\/strong> Judge is one of the sluggers who feast when Gausman is on the mound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The AL MVP favourite has 16 hits in 43 at-bats (.372 average) vs. the righty with six home runs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And a lot of that work was against a prime Gausman, which we&#8217;re not seeing this season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The former Cy Young candidate is sporting a 4.19 ERA in 2025, his worst since joining the Blue Jays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This season, Judge has cashed this wager in both of Gausman&#8217;s starts against the Yankees. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Judge also has hits in all three games since the break with a home run against the Atlanta Braves on Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong><strong>Rodon under 5.5 Ks<\/strong> (-157)<\/strong>:<\/strong> As mentioned, Rodon was efficient in his one start against Toronto this year, but he only struck out four batters over five innings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rodon does have an impressive 28.2% K rate, but the Blue Jays provide the toughest matchup in the majors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Toronto strikes out fewer times per game (6.68) than any other team in MLB.
