Ohtani is batting .352 with a .957 SLG against those offerings from right-handers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-13bf476e-3f27-4d52-86f2-70dff07fd638\"><strong>Key stat:<\/strong> Ohtani&#8217;s 2.36 total bases per game are the second-most in MLB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"cacheembed:116009\">Embed: #116009<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul id=\"block-10146156-2d6b-49a8-b097-37743fd550b5\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/sports-hub\/baseball\/mlb?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_campaign=sportsbook_mlb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Full MLB betting markets<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/article\/mlb-injury-report?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_campaign=injury_reports\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>MLB injury report<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/top-players\/hitting\/OPS-on-base_plus_slugging?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_campaign=stats_pages\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>MLB stats &amp; standings<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-ebade6eb-0e6a-4675-8cbc-3a4396c11ac4\">Best MLB picks<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Alcantara under 3.5 strikeouts (+123)<\/strong>: Fading a former Cy Young winner on a line this low might seem like a donation, but Alcantara has quite literally lost his fastball since returning from Tommy John surgery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>He is posting career worsts in ERA (7.22), WHIP (1.484) and K\/9 (7.0).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Alcantara&#8217;s fastball run value went from +15 in 2023 to +1 in 2025. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In the same span, his breaking run value went from +4 to -4. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tonight, he is tasked with shutting down a Royals team with the fifth-lowest K rate against RHP this season (19.2%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This isn&#8217;t the lineup to &#8220;find it&#8221; against. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-310bddf4-d3c1-4fc6-8fe4-37281455da02\"><strong>Holliday to score (+106)<\/strong>: Holliday is batting leadoff on the road for a surging Baltimore Orioles team against a struggling pitcher \u2014 what&#8217;s not to like? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-310bddf4-d3c1-4fc6-8fe4-37281455da02\">Well, maybe Holliday&#8217;s .308 season-long OBP. But the young infielder has a platoon advantage against Taj Bradley \u2014 he has a .748 OPS vs. RHP \u2014 and should make hay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bradley has been fairly inconsistent for the Rays since the start of June, with three shutouts and three games with five-plus earned runs allowed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two of those games where he got shelled were against the Orioles:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>June 18:<\/strong> 1.1 IP, 6 H, 6 ER<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>June 29: <\/strong>5.1 IP, 8 H, 5 ER<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Baltimore&#8217;s lineup has a .324 BA against Bradley in 78 plate appearances.
