The Giants have cut down on Ks, but have the 10th-highest strikeout rate in MLB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-13bf476e-3f27-4d52-86f2-70dff07fd638\"><strong>Key stat:<\/strong> Opposing starters have topped this line in seven of the Giants&#8217; last 10 games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-ebade6eb-0e6a-4675-8cbc-3a4396c11ac4\">Best MLB picks<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Nelson under 17.5 outs (-134)<\/strong>: Don&#8217;t overlook L.A. The club has a top-10 offence over the last two weeks and crushes bombs.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Angels are fifth in MLB in homers and are getting good production out of the middle of their order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>July OPS:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Taylor Ward: .821<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jo Adell: .853<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jorge Soler: .863<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mike Trout: .967<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Weather reports call for clear skies and light wind blowing out at Angel Stadium, consistently one of MLB\u2019s top-hitting environments.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nelson, who started the season in the bullpen, has been throwing great but has failed to touch 90 pitches in an outing.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He has cleared this line in consecutive starts after doing so once in his previous seven.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jake Woodford kept Arizona\u2019s bullpen in good shape yesterday, working three innings after Eduardo Rodriguez completed four frames.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the three games before that, Diamondbacks starters went six, seven and eight innings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Arizona\u2019s bullpen will be in good shape tonight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-310bddf4-d3c1-4fc6-8fe4-37281455da02\"><strong>De La Cruz over 1.5 total bases (-134)<\/strong>: German Marquez and the Colorado Rockies\u2019 dreadful bullpen at Great American Ballpark\u2026 what could go wrong? Plenty.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019d like a better price on this De La Cruz prop, but this is the cost of doing business.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De La Cruz\u2019s home park is one of the game\u2019s most hitter-friendly venues, which he takes full advantage of. And Marquez is one of the game\u2019s most hitter-friendly pitchers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The switch-hitting De La Cruz will start the game from the left side, which is where he primarily does damage.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De La Cruz&#8217;s OPS splits in his three seasons:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>OPS vs. RHPs:<\/strong> .912, .876, .799<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>OPS vs. LHPs:<\/strong> .681, .661, .495<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Lefty batters vs. Marquez: .312 average, .507 slugging, .882 OPS. Despite his home park being Coors Field, he&#8217;s been worse on the road (6.48 ERA vs. 5.03).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-310bddf4-d3c1-4fc6-8fe4-37281455da02\">De La Cruz is batting .290 at home with an .858 OPS.
