But I&#8217;ve got my eyes on a pair of European Ryder Cup players \u2014 Viktor Hovland and Matthew Fitzpatrick \u2014 in addition to a two-time winner this season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-4018230a-634c-4e00-b4d6-975112a67cb1\">Check out my Scottish Open picks for the 2025 tournament beginning on July 10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-0daf7ebc-fbd3-498c-8598-8189b6955828\">Scottish Open picks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-c2ea1d7d-b4a5-41fe-b1f9-798fc6ee8cde\"><strong>Best bet: Hovland to win (+3,300) &amp; top-20 finish (+163)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-c2ea1d7d-b4a5-41fe-b1f9-798fc6ee8cde\">The last time we saw Hovland, he was forced to withdraw from the Travelers Championship on Sunday with a neck injury. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-c2ea1d7d-b4a5-41fe-b1f9-798fc6ee8cde\">The Norwegian entered the day 6-under, and a top-10 finish sure felt like the floor had he finished out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But I&#8217;m not worried about that injury, and you shouldn&#8217;t be either. That includes a T8 in his most recent start at the Rocket Classic.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>He ranks 17th in strokes gained: putting (+0.65) and 16th in strokes gained: approach (+0.61) in this field over the last 20 rounds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fitzpatrick grew up playing on courses similar to this one and has a strong history at the Renaissance Club.
