Note: Lines have changed\/market no longer available if grey.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"cacheembed:115870\">Embed: #115870<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The favourite: Scheffler (-835)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Scheffler put together one of the finest rounds of his career at Royal Portrush on Saturday, navigating the links without error.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The World No. 1 is leading the field in strokes gained: approach <em>and <\/em>strokes gained: putting through 54 holes \u2014 and when he was in danger, his short game saved the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A win on Sunday would be major No. 4 for Scheffler and add to this elite resume over the last 20 months:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>12 wins<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two majors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Olympic gold medal<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2024 Tour Championship.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Only two players are within five shots of Scheffler, so it&#8217;s hard to imagine him slipping up at this point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"other-masters-choices\">Golf betting notes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/event\/1021291583?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_campaign=sportsbook_golf\">Bet on the Open Championship<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Can Li run down Scheffler? But Scheffler responded with an eagle, and then things went sideways for the Englishman. Fitzpatrick shot two over on the back nine and exited contention.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>McIlroy is a long shot to win this event, and aims to build off his stellar Saturday 66.
