That provides us with all-day betting action and Houston Astros righty <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/hunter_brown\/pitching-stats\">Hunter Brown<\/a> tops the list as my No. 1 target. Brown has been dominating and gets one of his juiciest matchups yet: a date with the lowly Colorado Rockies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-d0873b89-4dfa-47d6-9954-56140c451c77\">Check out my top MLB prop bets for June 27, featuring predictions on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/clayton_kershaw\/pitching-stats\">Clayton Kershaw<\/a> \u2014 who gets his own tasty opponent \u2014 and Toronto Blue Jays sophomore <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/addison_barger\/batting-stats\">Addison Barger<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-22b3784f-32c2-400a-beef-1578a991be49\">MLB prop bets<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-0c59b741-4781-48d8-8ffa-d93f8ee90c10\"><strong>Best bet: Brown over 6.5 Ks (-134)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-0c59b741-4781-48d8-8ffa-d93f8ee90c10\">This isn\u2019t a huge line to clear but it\u2019s big enough to warrant consideration. And the venue, Coors Field, adds its own level of risk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But there are too many positives to ignore, making this a smash play as far as I\u2019m concerned. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brown has been one of the best pitchers in MLB by several metrics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He leads all starters in ERA (1.84) and is third in strikeout rate (32.1 K%). Brown&#8217;s also top 10 in FIP, and is allowing homers and walks at below-average rates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 26-year-old has surrendered two earned runs or fewer in 14 of his 16 starts, handling opponents far more potent than this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Colorado has the highest K rate vs. RHPs and is last in wRC+.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Rockies are an MLB-worst 19-66 and are scoring the fourth-fewest runs per game.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Brown enters this salivating matchup having punched out nine-plus batters in three of his last four outings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-13bf476e-3f27-4d52-86f2-70dff07fd638\"><strong>Key stat:<\/strong> Brown is 11-5 vs. a 6.5 strikeout line this season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"cacheembed:115441\">Embed: #115441<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul id=\"block-10146156-2d6b-49a8-b097-37743fd550b5\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/sports-hub\/baseball\/mlb?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_campaign=sportsbook_mlb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Full MLB betting markets<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/article\/mlb-injury-report?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_campaign=injury_reports\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>MLB injury report<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/top-players\/hitting\/OPS-on-base_plus_slugging?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_campaign=stats_pages\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>MLB stats &amp; standings<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-ebade6eb-0e6a-4675-8cbc-3a4396c11ac4\">Best MLB picks<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-310bddf4-d3c1-4fc6-8fe4-37281455da02\"><strong>Kershaw over 4.5 Ks (-121)<\/strong>: The Los Angeles Dodgers veteran has generally been strong since making his season debut in mid-May, and he\u2019s been particularly excellent over his last three outings.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>June 26 @ COL: 6 IP, 2, 1 R, 1 BB, 5 K<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>June 20 vs. WSH: 5 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 2 BB, 4 K<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>June 14 vs. SF: 7 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 5 K&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Kershaw had a season-high seven strikeouts before that three-start stretch, meaning he has cleared this line in three of his last four outings.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 37-year-old will see the Chicago White Sox, who have the second-highest K rate in MLB vs. southpaws.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chicago has been punched out more than all but two teams over the last 30 days, sporting the second-worst wRC+ over that time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-c3d59bf3-e444-470d-8383-e592fe52f10d\"><strong>Barger over 0.5 runs (+123)<\/strong>: Barger has slowed a bit but he\u2019s still been productive and has lately been the No. 2 hitter in what\u2019s been a potent lineup for the sizzling Jays.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That puts him directly in front of Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Alejandro Kirk and George Springer, a trio of batters hitting the ball exceptionally well.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>New York Yankees starter Will Warren has been dynamite against right-handers, but left-handers have handled him much better, giving Barger (.828 OPS vs. RHPs, .639 vs. LHPs) an excellent platoon advantage.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since May 29, only 13 players have scored more runs than the 25-year-old Barger.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>24 runs in 27 games&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>.265\/.321\/.551 slash line<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>7 HR, 142 wRC+<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-c3d59bf3-e444-470d-8383-e592fe52f10d\">I like the bats behind Barger, but he\u2019s more than capable of cashing this on his own.
