The Americans first play Guatemala before Mexico takes on Honduras. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Check out the best CONCACAF Gold Cup predictions for Wednesday&#8217;s semifinal matches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">CONCACAF Gold Cup predictions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Best bet: Mexico halftime\/fulltime (-130)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mexico is the class of this tournament, and has been for a long time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Tricolour have a record nine Gold Cup titles and are two matches away from defending their 2023 championship. So far, so good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Javier Aguirre&#8217;s squad has conceded a tournament-low two goals, and both came in its opening match against the Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Three clean sheets later, and I anticipate this Mexican squad winning it all. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aguirre has a 10-3-3 record since Aguirre took over in July 2024, and has only lost one game on home or neutral ground in that span.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Honduras got smashed 6-0 by Canada to open up this tournament and also lost 5-0 to Mexico when these teams played last November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Trioclour are -177 to record a clean sheet, which I expect to happen.
