The Angels have struggled mightily against lefties, and their starter, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/jack_kochanowicz\/pitching-stats\">Jack Kochanowicz<\/a> (5.49 ERA), has gotten roughed up this season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Check out my Nationals vs. Angels <a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNTc4NzU5JnA9MjM3Njk%3D\">predictions<\/a>, with a +380 parlay, featuring Parker and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/james_wood\/batting-stats\">James Wood<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nationals vs. Angels predictions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Parlay: Nationals moneyline | Wood over 1.5 bases | Parker over 3.5 strikeouts (+380)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNTc4NzU5JnA9MjM3Njk%3D\">Nationals moneyline (+112)<\/a>:<\/strong> Neither team is projected to make the playoffs, and neither team is starting an ace. With that said, I feel pretty good about backing the Nats at plus-money against Kochanowicz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Kochanowicz owns a 6.65 ERA across five starts this month, allowing 35 baserunners in just 21.2 IP (1.62 WHIP).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On the season, he ranks in the 20th percentile or lower in xERA (4.98), xBA (.274), walk rate (10.6), K rate (16.5) and hard-hit rate (47.1).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Washington&#8217;s lineup isn&#8217;t exactly a murderer&#8217;s row, but it still has the fourth-lowest K rate (19.6%) against RHP this year. If anything, we could be in for a little spite run. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wood mashes righties to the tune of a .574 SLG, and Kochanowicz has gotten crushed by left-hitting batters this year (.303\/.381\/.537 slash line).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Look for the young gun to make a splash in this series finale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNTc4NzU5JnA9MjM3Njk%3D\">Parker over 3.5 strikeouts (-190)<\/a>:<\/strong> Finally, I&#8217;ll turn to Parker on a teased-down K total.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The lefties&#8217; 7th percentile K rate (15.9%) isn&#8217;t the prettiest thing to look at.
