On the women&#8217;s side, Iga Swiatek and Jessica Pegula look to add to their trophy cases before Wimbledon starts next week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Check out my top tennis predictions for the June 28 matches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tennis predictions: Eastbourne Open<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Best bet: Fritz under 12.5 games won<\/strong> <strong>(+125)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a good way to back the American while avoiding his -148 price tag to win in straight sets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fritz already has a title on grass this season (Stuttgart Open) and is proving to be one of the best in the world on the surface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the last two years, he&#8217;s 16-3 on grass, including a 6-1 start in 2025. On Saturday, he has the chance to add another title before he turns his focus to Wimbledon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fritz plays Brooksby, the No. 133-ranked men&#8217;s player.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Brooksby qualified as a lucky loser at Eastbourne and took advantage, winning three of the next four matches in straight sets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>But he&#8217;s needed three more matches than Fritz to reach the final, and that can&#8217;t be ignored.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These two have a recent match to look at, coming at the Australian Open in January. Fritz won the contest by a landslide, winning all three sets (6-2, 6-0, 6-3).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For this wager to cash, the No. 5-ranked player needs to win in straight sets with a few breaks mixed in. Or he could lose badly, but I don&#8217;t see that in the cards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key stat<\/strong>: In their last meeting, Fritz won six of his seven break points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/sports-hub\/tennis\/atp?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_campaign=sportsbook_tennis\">Full tennis betting markets<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Best bet for Pegula vs. Swiatek<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong>Swiatek -4.5 games<\/strong><\/strong> <strong>(+108): <\/strong>Swiatek has won six of her 10 career matches with Pegula, but the two have never met on grass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And that&#8217;s one surface where the Polish player shines. She&#8217;s off to a 3-0 start this season and has yet to lose a set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall, she&#8217;s 21-8 on grass in her career and 12-2 since the start of 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pegula is a good player on the surface, holding a 32-22 career record. But she&#8217;s faced far more resistance at the Bad Homburg Open, needing all three sets to win her last two matches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That&#8217;s resulted in needing almost an hour more of court time to reach the final. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Swiatek hasn&#8217;t won a title so far in 2025, and it&#8217;s cost her in the rankings. She&#8217;s down at No. 8 after a lengthy stint in the top five.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a great chance to start a turnaround.
