Tonight, he&#8217;ll face Boston rookie Hunter Dobbins, who has allowed a .457 SLG to lefty hitters this season.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dobbins also hasn&#8217;t put up great numbers on the road: four games, 4.74 ERA, .801 opponent OPS.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>One risk to this prop bet is Devers&#8217; tendency to walk. His 58 walks are the second-most in MLB this season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fortunately, Dobbins isn&#8217;t likely to issue a bunch of free passes. He has a 4.8% walk rate, which ranks in the 93rd percentile, per Baseball Savant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As long as Dobbins is shooting strikes, Devers should find something to mash. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Devers is slugging .588 against four-seam fastballs, curveballs and sliders thrown by right-handed pitchers. That&#8217;s roughly 80% of Dobbins&#8217; typical pitch mix vs. left-hitting players.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In terms of Dobbins&#8217; pitch arsenal, this matchup is enticing.
