Runs are expected to be plentiful in a starting pitching matchup featuring Jack Kochanowicz (5.61 ERA) and Charlie Morton (6.59 ERA).\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Morton has bounced between the rotation and bullpen, pitching much better as a reliever. But the Orioles have him starting again and his last outing was a disaster after two solid turns in the rotation.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The veteran righty got lit for four runs on six hits, walking four over 2.1 innings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>His walk rate is the highest since his debut season and his HR\/9 rate is among the highest of his career. Note: The Athletics used openers before turning to lefties for bulk innings in their recent series vs. Minnesota.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Patrick Corbin (Rangers): 6 Ks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jeffrey Springs (Athletics): 7 Ks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jacob Lopez (Athletics): 9 Ks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kris Bubic (Royals): 9 Ks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Noah Cameron (Royals): 8 Ks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The 26-year-old rookie has cleared this line in three of his five starts and landed on four in another outing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He has an above-average 23.6% K rate and had solid strikeout totals in the minors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gordon will look to build on those numbers against a Twins team that has the fifth-highest K rate vs. LHPs.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-571cf986-8d14-4776-b519-20fa27d04fec\"><em>MLB prop picks made at 12:45 p.m. ET on 06\/13\/2025<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Friday&#8217;s top MLB prop recommendation features a play on hot-hitting Los Angeles Angels shortstop Zach Neto.
