And he&#8217;s been excellent at home all year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>June: .421\/.436\/.553<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Home: .368\/.425\/.566<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Houston Astros&#8217; shortstop is having a career year at the plate (146 wRC+) and has multi-hit games in six of nine contests this month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pena sports a career-low K rate and sees Chicago White Sox starter Davis Martin, who is having a respectable season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But the unimposing arm struggles to miss bats, owning a seventh percentile K rate, and has a 5.56 xERA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-13bf476e-3f27-4d52-86f2-70dff07fd638\"><strong>Key stat:<\/strong> Pena is 9-6 against this line in his last 15 games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-ebade6eb-0e6a-4675-8cbc-3a4396c11ac4\">Best MLB picks<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-310bddf4-d3c1-4fc6-8fe4-37281455da02\"><strong>Greene over 1.5 total bases (+115)<\/strong>: The Detroit Tigers slugger might face a platoon disadvantage to start this game with lefty Keegan Akin opening for the Baltimore Orioles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-310bddf4-d3c1-4fc6-8fe4-37281455da02\">But righty Dean Kremer is expected to get the bulk of the innings for Baltimore and he&#8217;s been hammered by left-handed hitters. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Kremer vs. LHBs: .331\/.357\/.550<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Greene vs. RHPs: .304\/.340\/.560<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-310bddf4-d3c1-4fc6-8fe4-37281455da02\">Greene should hopefully get a couple of opportunities against Kremer in favourable hitting conditions in Baltimore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-310bddf4-d3c1-4fc6-8fe4-37281455da02\">Of Greene&#8217;s 13 homers, 12 have come against right-handers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Camden Yards has been the best home run-hitting park in MLB this season, per Baseball Savant, and is generally one of the most hitter-friendly venues in the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-571cf986-8d14-4776-b519-20fa27d04fec\"><em>MLB prop picks made at 1:35 p.m. ET on 06\/12\/2025<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two players are featured in Thursday&#8217;s top prop picks for the light eight-game MLB slate.
