Elsewhere, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/julio_rodriguez\/batting-stats\">Julio Rodriguez<\/a> and the Seattle Mariners look to win their series with the Minnesota Twins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-84329f2b-7888-4034-9979-03e8608897e5\">Check out my top MLB prop bets for June 1, featuring a prediction on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/mike_trout\/batting-stats\">Mike Trout<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-0a4ee124-09d4-4260-81c9-fd6fe232dbb3\">MLB prop bets<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Best Bet: Gurriel over 1.5 total bases (+104)<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The former Toronto Blue Jay has been an offensive force for the Diamondbacks during his tenure with the club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He started this season slowly but is in the middle of a huge turnaround. Take a look at his stats in May (including a current seven-game hit streak):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>.324 batting average<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>.910 OPS<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>54 total bases<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>14-12 against this wager<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>On Sunday, Gurriel faces Mitchell Parker for the Washington Nationals, whose 4.65 ERA and 1.33 WHIP are less than impressive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even his advanced stats, per Baseball Savant, paint an ugly picture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>8th-percentile K rate (15.2)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>14th-percentile hard-hit rate (46.8)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Parker barely strikes out batters and gives up a lot of power. And he&#8217;s been flirting with a power surge all season despite batting .200.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His xSLG (.573) ranks in the 95th percentile and is over 100 points higher than his actual slugging percentage (.470).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cleveland Guardians starter Gavin Williams has a 4.60 FIP and 1.58 WHIP this season, the worst marks of his career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At +135, this is a steal for Trout, who still has plenty of pop left.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-84329f2b-7888-4034-9979-03e8608897e5\"><em>MLB prop picks made at 8:35 a.m. ET on 06\/01\/2025<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There&#8217;s MLB action all day Sunday, and I&#8217;m targeting three sluggers.
