Later on, the Oklahoma City Thunder and Denver Nuggets battle for the upper hand out West.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-8f1effd0-db18-40a8-916e-091372420d9e\">Check out my NBA prop bets for Monday, May 13, which include predictions on Mobley, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/nba\/players\/myles_turner\">Myles Turner<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/nba\/players\/nikola_jokic\">Nikola Jokic<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-0a4ee124-09d4-4260-81c9-fd6fe232dbb3\">NBA prop bets<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-479767b6-5872-497b-ac44-239c07c7e3d5\"><strong>Best Bet: Mobley over 28.5 points\/rebounds (-122)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I made this wager in Game 4, and it fell flat on its face with Mobley recording 10 points and five rebounds in 27 minutes of action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Pacers grabbed the early advantage and never looked back after leading by 41 points at halftime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This resulted in a negative game script for most players, so I&#8217;ll choose to have a short memory and jump right back in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mobley missed Game 2 of this series, but look how he performed in Games 1 and 3:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>19.0 points\/game<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>11.5 rebounds\/game<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>15-for-25 from the field (60%)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Mobley broke out on offence this season and is now one of the best two-way players in basketball. He averaged 19.0 points and 12.5 rebounds in his two regular-season meetings with Indiana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cleveland needs a win to keep its season alive, and another dominant performance by Mobley should be expected in this matchup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-479767b6-5872-497b-ac44-239c07c7e3d5\"><strong>Key stat<\/strong>: The Pacers allowed the seventh-most points (23.93) and second-most rebounds (11.28) to power forwards in the regular season, per Fantasy Pros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"cacheembed:113698\">Embed: #113698<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/sports-hub\/basketball\/nba?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_campaign=sportsbook_nba\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Full NBA betting markets<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/article\/nba-injury-report?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_campaign=injury_reports\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>NBA injury report<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/nba\/top-players?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_campaign=stats_pages\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>NBA stats &amp; standings<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Best NBA picks<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Turner over 6.5 rebounds (-130):<\/strong> On the other side, Turner has been tasked with containing two bruisers down low.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While Mobley provides a threat inside, so does Jarrett Allen, who&#8217;s a double-double threat on any night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That&#8217;s led to 15.3 potential rebounds per game for Turner this series. That&#8217;s more than his average of 13.6 in the regular season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall, Turner is 3-1 against this line while grabbing 7.3 boards a night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, the big man has totalled more rebounds when playing in Cleveland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Game 1 @ Cleveland:<\/strong> 11 rebounds<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Game 2 @ Cleveland:<\/strong> 8 rebounds<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Game 3 @ Indiana:<\/strong> 3 rebounds <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Game 4 @ Indiana:<\/strong> 7 rebounds<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Expect a similar performance on the road in Game 5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jokic under 28.5 points (-130):<\/strong> Fading Jokic as a scorer this season hasn&#8217;t been as safe as in years past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Serbian big man averaged a career-high in points (29.6) while shooting 57.6% from the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He looked on track to dominate this series as well, but OKC figured something out and is now containing the three-time MVP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Game 1:<\/strong> 42 points (15-for-29)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Game 2:<\/strong> 17 points (6-for-16)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Game 3: <\/strong>20 points (8-for-25)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Game 4:<\/strong> 27 points (7-for-22)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s uncharacteristic for Jokic to have three bad shooting performances in a row, but the Thunder have a trio of defensively sound bigs and led the NBA with a 106.6 defensive rating in the regular season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I would be hesitant to fade Jokic if he were choosing to shoot less, but his inability to score 28-plus on a high volume of shots proves that OKC&#8217;s strategy is working.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Thunder&#8217;s defensive rating has improved to 100.2 in the playoffs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-84329f2b-7888-4034-9979-03e8608897e5\"><em>NBA prop picks made at 3:55 p.m. ET on 05\/12\/2025.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Three big men have my attention for Tuesday&#8217;s NBA playoff action.
