I&#8217;m not expecting things to get much better, and like a pair of props that work against Atlanta&#8217;s chances at bouncing back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/freddie_freeman\/batting-stats\">Freddie Freeman<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/bryce_elder\/pitching-stats\">Bryce Elder<\/a> are featured in my Dodgers vs. Braves prop bets for Sunday Night Baseball on May 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dodgers vs. Braves prop bets<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Best Bet: Freeman over 1.5 total bases (+100)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Like usual, there&#8217;s a strong case to make when it comes to backing Freeman on this market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ex-Braves first baseman continues to torment his old team. He delivered three hits, including a home run, in Saturday&#8217;s dominant win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Big performances have been the norm for Freeman as he has cashed this prop in 11 of 22 games this season, making this a very fair line for him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The benefit of backing a hitter like Freeman on this prop is that he can get it done with both contact and power. He&#8217;s batting an impressive .338 this season with a .662 SLG.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The matchup also works in Freeman&#8217;s favour. The superstar has done well in seven at-bats against Elder, delivering three hits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elder has been giving up a lot of hard contact this season, too. His seventh-percentile whiff rate and eighth-percentile K rate certainly aren&#8217;t going to blow anybody away. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His inability to generate swings-and-misses is why he&#8217;s failed to top this prop in three of his five starts this season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, the Dodgers aren&#8217;t a team that&#8217;s prone to massive punch-out totals. They rank a very mediocre 16th in team strikeout rate this season (8.27).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elder didn&#8217;t top this prop in his lone start against Los Angeles in 2025.
