There&#8217;s been no shortage of goals between the Los Angeles Kings and Edmonton Oilers, making <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/nhl\/players\/kevin_fiala\">Kevin Fiala<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/nhl\/players\/evan_bouchard\">Evan Bouchard<\/a> prime candidates to score.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Check out my NHL anytime goal picks for April 27.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">NHL anytime goal picks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Best Bet: Ovechkin anytime goal (+123)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ovechkin is a great pick to score on most nights, but especially tonight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Washington Capitals superstar has already netted three pucks in this series, and he&#8217;s a great candidate to add to that total on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Montreal Canadiens enter Sunday&#8217;s contest with questions in net. Sam Montembeault exited Game 3 with an injury, leaving his status in doubt for Game 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If he&#8217;s able to go, he&#8217;ll likely be operating at less than full health. If he&#8217;s not able to play, that leaves the inexperienced Jakub Dobes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dobes has played in only 17 NHL games, and his relief effort in Game 3 is his lone taste of playoff action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The young netminder turned aside seven of eight shots in the effort, with Ovechkin being the only Caps player to riffle one past Dobes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ovechkin will undoubtedly keep shooting against an unproven netminder, and that bodes well for this prop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key stat:<\/strong> Ovechkin has scored a goal in nine of his last 12 games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"cacheembed:113059\">Embed: #113059<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/sports-hub\/ice_hockey\/nhl?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_campaign=sportsbook_nhl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Full NHL betting markets<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/article\/nhl-injury-report?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_campaign=injury_reports\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>NHL injury report<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/nhl\/top-skaters?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_campaign=stats_pages\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>NHL stats &amp; standings<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">NHL prop predictions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fiala anytime goal (+195):<\/strong> Putting pucks on net is half the battle when it comes to scoring, and Fiala is doing that in bunches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Kings&#8217; star has 14 shots across three games, tying for the team lead in the category. He has buried two of those shots, and he&#8217;s a prime choice to do more damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fiala is third among all postseason performers in expected goals (2.53) and tied for fifth in scoring chances (16), according to Natural Stat Trick.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His chances are bolstered by Edmonton&#8217;s brutal goaltending situation. The switch to Calvin Pickard made little difference as he allowed four goals in Game 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Oilers have the worst playoff save percentage in the NHL (.820).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bouchard anytime goal (+390):<\/strong> I don&#8217;t typically like wagering on defencemen to score goals, but these are appealing odds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And there&#8217;s an equally appealing case to back Bouchard. The Edmonton rearguard leads his team in shots this postseason (10).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bouchard&#8217;s pair of goals ties him for the team lead in the category, as he tallied twice in Game 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Edmonton&#8217;s goaltending situation has received much scrutiny, but Darcy Kuemper hasn&#8217;t been much better.
