But both teams had their playoff seeding locked in. With starters rested, that result should be thrown out the window.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Magic had won 11 of 15 games before that, with wins against the Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Lakers and Hawks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I think it&#8217;s fair to say Orlando is a good team and wouldn&#8217;t be in this position if Banchero and Franz Wagner were healthy all season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On home court, I like its chances of handling an Hawks team with sketchy defensive tendencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Atlanta went 12-18 straight up as a road underdog this season and was 21st in road defensive rating (115.4). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">NBA SGP legs<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong><strong><strong>Banchero 30+ points <\/strong><\/strong><\/strong>(-122):<\/strong> Banchero has feasted against the Hawks and played at an MVP-calibre pace to close out the season \u2014 this leg seems like a smash play to me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Banchero averaged 29.7 points on 49.2% shooting in his last 20 games. In that span, he went 11-9 against this line.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The power forward has scored 30+ points in four of his last five games against the Hawks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Atlanta allows the most points per game to the PF postion, according to Fantasy Pros. Banchero is by far the Magic&#8217;s best player and I expect him to completely take over this game. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>Daniels over 10.5 rebounds\/assists<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong> (-125):<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/nba\/players\/dyson_daniels\">Dyson Daniels<\/a> is a burgeoning defensive superstar and he&#8217;s found ways to produce on offence, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 6-foot-7 guard averaged 6.8 rebounds and 5.2 assists following the all-star break, healthily above this line. It&#8217;s worth noting the Magic are a great defensive team, especially at home, which is baked into this price. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Still, I like Daniels to go over this mark. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He cleared this in eight of his last 10 games to close out the regular season and is 1-2 against this line vs. the Magic since joining Atlanta (landing on 10 rebounds\/assists in one game).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Hawks vs. Magic predictions made at 10:40 a.m. ET 04\/15\/2025.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The NBA&#8217;s play-in begins on Tuesday when the Orlando Magic host the Atlanta Hawks.
