As a result, they&#8217;re resting the following players on Thursday:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Darius Garland<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Donovan Mitchell<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Evan Mobley<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Max Strus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>There are still some capable defenders taking the court for Cleveland, but I expect Siakam to feast with Mobley, a Defensive Player of the Year candidate, sidelined. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Indiana Pacers&#8217; power forward is averaging 20.4 PPG this season and has cleared this total in back-to-back games. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And in two games against Cleveland this season \u2014 with Mobley playing \u2014 he scored 23 and 18 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Indiana has won five straight games and is still jockeying for playoff positioning. Siakam should get plenty of run in an easy matchup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-479767b6-5872-497b-ac44-239c07c7e3d5\"><strong>Key stat<\/strong>: Siakam is 46-31 against this line this season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Best NBA picks<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Edey over 10.5 rebounds (-134): <\/strong>Last Saturday, I faded Edey&#8217;s 9.5 rebound total against the Detroit Pistons \u2014 he finished that game with 21 boards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now I&#8217;m going the other way and am looking to back the Canadian rookie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Edey is averaging 17.3 rebounds since April 1, and is 4-0 against this line. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>He&#8217;s played 28-plus minutes in each game, which is <em>well<\/em> up from his 20.3-minute average in March.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Minnesota Timberwolves, who Edey plays tonight, are a great rebounding team.
