And they both have my attention on some plus-money plays today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Check out my Blue Jays picks vs. Red Sox for April 10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Blue Jays picks vs. Red Sox<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"insights\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/sports-hub\/baseball\/mlb?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_campaign=sportsbook_mlb\">Full MLB betting markets<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"insights\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/article\/mlb-injury-report?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_campaign=injury_reports\">MLB injury report<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"insights\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/mlb\/top-players\/hitting\/OPS-on-base_plus_slugging?utm_source=insights&amp;utm_medium=text_link&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=&amp;utm_campaign=stats_pages\">MLB stats &amp; standings<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Best bet: Devers over 1.5 bases (+107)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"cacheembed:112340\">Embed: #112340<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The sky was momentarily falling for Devers when the season began. But it&#8217;s a very long season, and the slugger didn&#8217;t need much time to right the ship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>March (5 games):<\/strong> 0-for-19, 15 strikeouts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>April (8 games):<\/strong> 13-for-30, five doubles, one home run<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>So far this month, Devers has gone over 1.5 bases in five of eight games. He had a pair of doubles in last night&#8217;s extra-inning loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Devers hits the ball as hard as anyone, and he rarely chases. According to Baseball Savant, he has an MLB-high 71.4% hard-hit rate, as well as a 94th-percentile chase rate (17.1%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also has superb numbers against Toronto&#8217;s Chris Bassitt: 7-for-14, two doubles, three HRs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In other words, this is an ideal matchup to see Devers continue his April surge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key stat:<\/strong> The left-hitting Devers has crushed right-handed pitching throughout his career. He owns a .286\/.357\/.553 slash line (138 wRC+) against RHPs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Prop predictions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Springer over 0.5 RBI (+170):<\/strong> Springer has been a leadoff man for most of his career, but in 2025 he&#8217;s transitioned to a heart-of-the-order bat. And I&#8217;d say it&#8217;s going pretty well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through 13 games, Springer is batting .447 with a 1.336 OPS. He has notched an RBI in six of his past eight starts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Boston starter Walker Buehler is off to a brutal start this season, allowing nine runs on 14 hits through just 9.1 innings. He just might be cooked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the Blue Jays can get to Buehler, Springer will have some chances to drive runners home.
