A teased-down total catches my attention as does the over on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/nba\/players\/alperen_sengun\">Alperen Sengun<\/a>&#8216;s points prop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Check out my Rockets vs. Suns SGP predictions for March 30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rockets vs. Suns predictions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/sports-hub\/basketball\/nba\">Full NBA betting markets<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/article\/nba-injury-report\">NBA injury report<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/nba\/top-players\">NBA player stats<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/nba\/standings\">NBA standings<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Parlay: Rockets ML | Over 216.5 points | Sengun over 20.5 points (+360)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"cacheembed:111908\">Embed: #111908<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rockets ML (-129):<\/strong> Phoenix has had plenty of time to prove it can get it done with this group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those expecting the team to play with some urgency down the stretch have been disappointed. The squad is a mediocre 5-5 across its last 10 outings and enters Sunday&#8217;s contest off back-to-back losses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the Suns do get into the play-in tournament, it&#8217;ll have more to do with the Sacramento Kings&#8217; poor play than anything else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Houston, meanwhile, is hitting its stride at the perfect time. The Rockets have won 11 of their last 12 games, including a 111-104 victory over the Suns on March 12.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I expect defence to decide this contest and it&#8217;s the Rockets who I trust to come up with a crucial stop. Houston ranks fourth in defensive rating (109.8) while Phoenix places 26th (116.9).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">NBA SGP legs<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Over 216.5 points (-195):<\/strong> Houston&#8217;s recent uptick in scoring is why I&#8217;m targeting the over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Rockets have been an offensive juggernaut during this hot streak. They&#8217;re averaging 119 points per game during this heater, over five points more than their season-long average (113.7).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The over on this total has cashed in eight of Houston&#8217;s last 12 contests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Suns, meanwhile, are tailormade to cash this over. They&#8217;re a respectable 13th in points per game (114.4) but 22nd in points against per outing (116.0).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Phoenix has gone over this total in 10 of its last 13 games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sengun over 20.5 points (+100):<\/strong> Lastly, I&#8217;m looking for Sengun to shine in a mouthwatering matchup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The big man is coming off one of his best offensive performances of the season. He scored 33 points against the Utah Jazz, his second-best output of the 2024-25 campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sengun fell short of clearing this total in the most recent contest between these squads on March 12, landing on 20 points exactly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He&#8217;s cleared this total in nine of his last 18 games, and there&#8217;s added reason to believe he&#8217;ll top this total on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Phoenix is allowing the third-most points per game to centres (24.9), according to Fantasy Pros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Rockets vs. Suns predictions made at 2:22 p.m. ET 03\/30\/2025.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Houston Rockets aim to stay hot against the middling Phoenix Suns in a Sunday night showdown.
