He&#8217;s coming off a two-goal, four-point performance against the Philadelphia Flyers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Swedish winger continues to be heavily involved in the Leafs&#8217; offence, playing on the second line with John Tavares and the first power play that also includes Matthews and Mitch Marner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>San Jose kills penalties at a measly 74.8% rate, so any man advantage for the Leafs will be dangerous on Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key stat:<\/strong> Nylander has seven points in his last three games against the Sharks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quick pick<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Matthews to record 2+ points (+143):<\/strong> I&#8217;m predicting the captain to make his mark on this game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since the start of February, Matthews has &#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Played 20 games<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scored 26 points<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recorded 6 multipoint games<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;d usually back Matthews to score, but he&#8217;s been more of a playmaker this season, currently having 10 more assists (37) than goals (27). Both would do the trick for this wager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And as I mentioned before, there isn&#8217;t a better matchup in the league than the Sharks.
