My targets are Josh Giddey, Naz Reid and DeMar DeRozan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-8f1effd0-db18-40a8-916e-091372420d9e\">Check out how I&#8217;m backing them in the best NBA prop bets for Feb. 24.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-0a4ee124-09d4-4260-81c9-fd6fe232dbb3\">Best NBA prop bets<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.com\/sportsbook\/sports\/basketball\/competitions\/10240\"><strong>Full NBA betting markets<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.com\/sportsbook\/news\/article\/nba-injury-report-news\"><strong>NBA injury report<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.com\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/nba\/top-players\"><strong>NBA player stats<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.com\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/nba\/standings\"><strong>NBA standings<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-479767b6-5872-497b-ac44-239c07c7e3d5\"><strong>Best bet: Giddey over 15.5 points (-120)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 22-year-old is coming off his two best-scoring games of the season and I\u2019m all in for him to stay hot on what\u2019s been an achievable line this month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Giddey scored 24 points in his last game following a season-best 27-point performance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His efficiency and volume have spiked since Zach LaVine was shipped out of town and Giddey has been strong from long range.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Take a look at what the Chicago Bulls guard has done this month:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>48.1 FG% on 16.3 attempts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3+ 3s in 5\/8 games<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>48.8% from deep <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Giddey&#8217;s improved 3-point stroke isn&#8217;t sustainable (he&#8217;s a 32.2% shooter from long range) but he&#8217;s been firing it up and should contribute from the perimeter again tonight against the Philadelphia 76ers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Philadelphia is 26th in the NBA in opponent 3-point percentage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-479767b6-5872-497b-ac44-239c07c7e3d5\"><strong>Key stat<\/strong>: Giddey is 6-2 against this line in February.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quick picks<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reid over 26.5 points\/rebounds (-125)<\/strong>: Reid is on a heater and has taken it to the Oklahoma City Thunder twice this month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 25-year-old double-doubled against the Thunder last night and on Thursday, scoring 22 and 27 points, respectively, in the two outings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In December, Reid scored 19 versus OKC. He&#8217;s averaged 11.0 rebounds in those three games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Frontcourt injuries have opened up more playing time for Reid, who\u2019s averaging 34.9 minutes in February and taking five more shots per game than his season average.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Reid is averaging 20.1 pts in Feb.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Last 4 games: 22.1 pts, 11.5 reb.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Topped this line in 7\/10 Feb. games<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DeRozan over 21.5 points (-118)<\/strong>: \u00a0In eight games since star point guard De\u2019Aaron Fox was traded to the San Antonio Spurs, DeRozan\u2019s scoring has unsurprisingly soared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The veteran wing has morphed into the Kings\u2019 top option on offence, averaging 25.6 points over those eight games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LaVine is averaging 20.3 points with his new team and Domantas Sabonis\u2019 scoring has gone down without Fox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sacramento\u2019s starting unit is all capable of scoring in double figures but DeRozan is the most consistent and arguably has the highest ceiling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DeRozan has three 30-plus scoring games in his last 15, in addition to a 42-point outburst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Kings have the rest advantage against the Charlotte Hornets, who have been crushed by double digits in their last two games and are coming off a 53-point loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-84329f2b-7888-4034-9979-03e8608897e5\"><em>Picks made at 11:57 a.m. ET on 02\/24\/2025.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The NBA kicks off the new week with an eight-game slate on Monday night.
