In the first game, I&#8217;m backing Sam Reinhart to score for Canada and William Nylander to score for Sweden. I&#8217;m taking Filip Forsberg to score a point, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Check out the latest Sweden vs. Canada 4 Nations Face-Off props for Feb. 12.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sweden vs. Canada props<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/sports-hub\/ice_hockey\/4_nations_face-off\"><strong>Full 4 Nations betting markets<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/article\/nhl-injury-report\"><strong>NHL injury report<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/nhl\"><strong>NHL player stats&nbsp;<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/nhl\"><strong>NHL standings<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Best Bet: Reinhart anytime goalscorer (+160)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"cacheembed:109277\">Embed: #109277<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Daily Faceoff, Reinhart will play wing on the first line with Connor McDavid and Mitch Marner while joining the first power-play unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That first line is extremely good but how about the PP that includes McDavid, Sidney Crosby, Nathan McKinnon and Cale Makar?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reinhart may seem like the name that doesn&#8217;t fit but he serves a purpose with the man advantage. He leads all Canadians with 31 goals in the NHL and nine of those came on the PP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He&#8217;ll play with some of hockey&#8217;s best passers on both his regular line and power play and he has a strong chance to lead the tournament in goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key stat:<\/strong> Since the start of last season, Reinhart ranks second in the NHL with 88 goals scored during that time, sitting one back of Auston Matthews (89).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quick picks<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Nylander anytime goalscorer (+235)<\/strong>: Nylander will have a large role in the Swedes&#8217; offence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He&#8217;ll play on the second line and seemingly quarterback the first PP unit as he&#8217;s slotted to play on the blueline with Victor Hedman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Leafs&#8217; star is currently second in the NHL with 33 goals in 55 games. He&#8217;s picking up the slack left behind by Matthews who&#8217;s missed a chunk of the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If anything, that shows us how productive Nylander can be when given more opportunity. John Tavares was also out for some time with an injury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He won&#8217;t have Marner to pass him the puck but linemate Mika Zibanejad had 50-plus assists in two of the last three seasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zibanejad is falling short of that pace this season (26 assists in 55 games) but he&#8217;s on a tear for the New York Rangers right now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He has six assists in his last five games while Nylander&#8217;s potted nine goals in his last 10 games. This could be a match made in heaven on the second line for Sweden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Forsberg to score 1+ points (+102):<\/strong> This pick is based on pure talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Forsberg has 53 points in 52 NHL games this season and he&#8217;s been on a heater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since Jan. 14, he has 34 points in 24 games and is coming off a 94-point season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With Canada starting Jordan Binnington in goal (.897 SV%, 2.89 GAA), I expect the Swedes to score a couple of goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>4 Nations Face-Off picks made at 1:09 p.m. ET on 02\/11\/202<\/em>5.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve got two goalscorer props to share for Wednesday&#8217;s opening game between Sweden and Canada.
