But I think both of them have a solid role to play in this year&#8217;s title game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The pregame narrative:<\/strong> Super Bowl 59 has no shortage of stars, and I&#8217;m counting on a quartet of players to chip in on Sunday. In addition to Worthy and Hunt, this +420 SGP has predictions on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/nfl\/player-stats\/dallas_goedert\">Dallas Goedert<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/nfl\/player-stats\/jalen_hurts\">Jalen Hurts<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Check out my Super Bowl same-game parlay picks on Worthy, Goedert and more for Sunday&#8217;s matchup between the Chiefs and Eagles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Super Bowl same-game parlay picks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/event\/1022628365\"><strong>Full Super Bowl Markets<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/article\/nfl-injury-report\"><strong>Super Bowl 59 Injury Report<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/nfl\/teams\/kc_kansas_city_chiefs_afc_west\/stats\"><strong>Kansas City Chiefs Team Stats<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/nfl\/teams\/phi_philadelphia_eagles_nfc_east\/stats\"><strong>Philadelphia Eagles Team Stats<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Parlay: Worthy 40+ receiving yards | Goedert 40+ receiving yards | Hunt 40+ rushing yards | Hurts 30+ rushing yards (+420)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"cacheembed:108812\">Embed: #108812<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Worthy 40+ receiving yards (-278)<\/strong>: Transitioning from college to the NFL is a huge adjustment, and most rookie receivers need some time to hit their stride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Worthy, the 28th-overall pick last spring, certainly fits that mould. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>From Weeks 1-10, Worthy averaged 4.8 targets, 2.2 catches and 27.3 yards. He had 40+ yards in just 2\/9 games.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>From Week 11 onward, he&#8217;s averaging 6.8 targets, 5.0 catches and 52.2 yards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>And really, Worthy&#8217;s numbers since Week 11 are unfavourably skewed. He only played one offensive snap in Week 18 before resting the remainder of the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Removing that outlier from the equation, Worthy has 40-plus yards in nine straight games, securing at least four catches in each matchup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With that kind of sustained production, it&#8217;s clear he&#8217;s a go-to guy for KC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a first-rounder, Worthy was drafted to be great. And after some understandable ramp-up time earlier in the season, he&#8217;s coming through when the Chiefs need him most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Other parlay picks<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Goedert 40+ receiving yards (-240):<\/strong> Philly&#8217;s Week 18 matchup against the Giants was largely meaningless. But it meant a lot for Goedert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The veteran tight end missed four games with a knee injury heading into the season finale. So, while most of his offensive co-stars rested, Goedert used the game to test his health. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fortunately, he passed with flying colours, catching four passes for 55 yards in just 13 snaps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Goedert kept the good times rolling in the postseason, where he&#8217;s had four-plus catches and 45-plus yards in all three games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Chiefs allowed the most yards per game to opposing tight ends this season (70.1). This should be a smash play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Back Hunt, Hurts on the ground<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong>Hunt 40+ rushing yards<\/strong> (-155):<\/strong>&nbsp;KC entrusted Hunt with a true RB1 role in the AFC championship, and he justified it with a solid output: 64 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hunt clearly has command of KC&#8217;s backfield ahead of Isiah Pacheco through two playoff matchups:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Hunt:<\/strong> 53.0% snaps, 25 carries, 2 targets<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Pacheco:<\/strong> 29.9% snaps, 10 carries, 3 targets<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Given how stout the Eagles&#8217; pass defence is \u2014 ranking No. 1 in yards per attempt (5.5) \u2014 I expect the Chiefs to give Hunt plenty of touches on the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entering the Super Bowl, Hunt has 40-plus rush yards in four of his past five games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Hurts 30+ rushing yards (-250):<\/strong> Oddly enough, Hurts rushed for a season-low 16 yards in the NFC championship despite amassing 10 carries (his second-most since Week 12).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One outlier performance won&#8217;t steer me away from this yardage milestone, though. Hurts typically has a very reliable floor in the ground game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>6+ carries in 17\/18 games<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>30+ rush yards in 13\/18 games<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>44.5 rush yards\/game since Week 8<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>KC averages the fourth-highest blitz rate in the NFL (31.6%) and the sixth-highest hurry rate (9.0%). If Hurts can evade pressure, there should be plenty of open turf ahead of him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Against the Chiefs in the Super Bowl two years ago, Hurts rushed 15 times for 70 yards and three TDs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Picks made at 2:00 p.m. ET on 02\/06\/2025.<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\"><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When the Kansas City Chiefs were in the Super Bowl last year, neither Xavier Worthy nor Kareem Hunt were on the squad.
