In addition to an over\/under play, I&#8217;m adding prop bets on a pair of Eagles receivers (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/nfl\/player-stats\/devonta_smith\">DeVonta Smith<\/a> and Jahan Dotson).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Check out my predictions on Smith and Dotson and the Super Bowl 59 O\/U pick below. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Super Bowl O\/U pick: Take the under<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/event\/1022628365\"><strong>Full Super Bowl Markets<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/article\/nfl-injury-report\"><strong>Super Bowl 59 Injury Report<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/nfl\/teams\/kc_kansas_city_chiefs_afc_west\/stats\"><strong>Kansas City Chiefs Team Stats<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/nfl\/teams\/phi_philadelphia_eagles_nfc_east\/stats\"><strong>Philadelphia Eagles Team Stats<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Parlay: Under 51.5 points | Smith over 3.5 receptions | Dotson over 2.5 receiving yards (+340)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"cacheembed:108704\">Embed: #108704<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Under 51.5 points (-167)<\/strong>: I know everyone wants to see as much offence as possible in the Super Bowl, but the fact is these are two elite defensive teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Kansas City allows the fourth-fewest points (19.2) and eighth-fewest yards per game (335.4).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Philadelphia allowed the second-fewest points (17.8) and fewest yards per game (296.3).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These two can score, no doubt, but with the bright lights of the Big Game, I&#8217;m predicting at least a slow start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A lot of running should be expected early as the Eagles continue to heavily involve stud tailback Saquon Barkley, and no one can blame them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other side, Philly had the best pass defence this season, which means the Chiefs may also start by testing out the run game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Running the ball means a running clock, which would be good for the under as long as there are limited chunk plays in the early going.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An extra week of scouting and scheming for each defence doesn&#8217;t hurt either.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Other parlay picks<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Smith over 3.5 receptions (-235):<\/strong> This is a number Smith has had success against for a good part of this season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>4+ catches in 13\/16 games<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4+ catches in eight straight games<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Smith landed on exactly four receptions in five of his past eight games, but his floor has been consistent all year long.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When these teams met at Super Bowl 57, Smith led all pass catchers with seven receptions and 100 yards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In fact, the wideout has excelled in every career outing against the Chiefs to this point, having at least six catches and 99 yards in all three games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong>Dotson over 2.5 receiving yards<\/strong> (-117):<\/strong>&nbsp;This is a strange line but I couldn&#8217;t move past it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One catch is very likely all that&#8217;d be needed for Dotson to cash this bet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He had <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/nfl\/player-stats\/jahan_dotson\">a reception in 11 of 14 regular season games<\/a> and cleared this yardage total each time. After starting the postseason hot with a touchdown versus the Green Bay Packers, Dotson fell short of this mark in back-to-back games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The good news is that Dotson finished with a snap count above 50% in all three playoff games, so he&#8217;s on the field enough to get attention from Jalen Hurts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dotson played more than 40% of offensive snaps every game this year outside of Week 6.
