I&#8217;ll also back Matthew Knies, who&#8217;s on the biggest heater of his young career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Check out my Maple Leafs picks vs. Flyers for Jan. 7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Maple Leafs picks vs. Flyers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"insights\"><strong>Go to full <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/sports-hub\/ice_hockey\/nhl\">NHL betting markets<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"cacheembed:105377\">Embed: #105377<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNTcxMDU0JnA9MjMxODU%3D\">Best Bet:<\/a> Leafs moneyline (-132)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Toronto turned to 23-year-old goalie Dennis Hildeby at home on Saturday and Philidelphia missed the chance to steal a win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hildeby stopped 30-of-32 shots in his best performance of the season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Tuesday, the Leafs turn back to Joseph Woll, who enters with these numbers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>13-6-0 record<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>.914 SV%.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2.48 GAA<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Toronto had an underwhelming performance at Scotiabank Arena but I believe the situational advantage lies with the away side here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Flyers capped off a six-game road trip on Saturday while the Leafs played six of eight contests at home during that time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And it&#8217;s not like the Flyers are a good home team, either. They are 8-9-1 at Wells Fargo Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Toronto is the better team, sitting atop the Atlantic Division and carrying a four-game win streak into the matchup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key stat:<\/strong> The Flyers allow the third-most goals per game (3.55).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quick pick<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNTcxMDU0JnA9MjMxODU%3D\">Knies to score 1+ points (+100):<\/a><\/strong> Knies followed up his five-point night with another goal on Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Philadelphia will start Ivan Fedotov in goal again tonight.
