{"id":319684,"date":"2025-01-06T13:18:19","date_gmt":"2025-01-06T18:18:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cms.northstargaming.ca\/admin\/nsgcms\/?p=319684"},"modified":"2025-01-06T13:18:20","modified_gmt":"2025-01-06T18:18:20","slug":"nba-prop-bets-january-6-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cms.northstargaming.ca\/admin\/nsgcms\/nba-prop-bets-january-6-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Best NBA prop bets Jan. 6: Expect Tyler Herro and Tyrese Haliburton to produce on Monday night"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p id=\"block-84329f2b-7888-4034-9979-03e8608897e5\">Stars Tyler Herro, Tyrese Haliburton and Anthony Edwards are featured in Monday&#8217;s top NBA prop picks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-84329f2b-7888-4034-9979-03e8608897e5\"><strong>The pregame narrative<\/strong>: I like Herro and Haliburton to produce big offensive nights and am fading Edwards against the Los Angeles Clippers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-8f1effd0-db18-40a8-916e-091372420d9e\">Check out the best NBA prop bets for Jan. 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-0a4ee124-09d4-4260-81c9-fd6fe232dbb3\">NBA prop bets<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Go to full <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/sports-hub\/basketball\/nba\">NBA betting markets<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-479767b6-5872-497b-ac44-239c07c7e3d5\"><strong>Best bet: Herro over 3.5 threes (-117)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"cacheembed:105312\">Embed: #105312<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This looks like a nice spot for Herro to do damage.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jimmy Butler is out of the equation and the Heat face a Sacramento Kings team that gets torched on the perimeter&nbsp;and is playing for the second consecutive night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Herro already carved up the Kings once this season, dropping 27 points and five triples when he saw them in November.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 24-year-old, averaging a career-high 23.8 points per game, enters with personal-best numbers from beyond the arc.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>3.8 threes\/game<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>9.5 attempts\/game<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>40.3% shooting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Herro has cleared&nbsp;this line in just about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/news\/stats\/nba\/players\/tyler_herro\">half of his games<\/a> and drilled at least three triples in all but nine of 33 contests.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He has both efficiency and volume working on his side against the Kings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key stat<\/strong>: Sacramento ranks 29th in the NBA in opponent 3-point percentage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quick picks<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Haliburton over 27.5 points\/assists (-108)<\/strong>: The Indiana Pacers point guard has cleared this line in five of his last seven contests.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He has blown past it in three of those games, including each of his last two.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Haliburton dropped 33 and 15 against the Heat on Jan. 2 and responded with a 27-point, eight-assist outing versus the Phoenix Suns on Saturday night.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Brooklyn Nets are a bottom-of-the-barrel defensive unit and the Pacers aren&#8217;t much better.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Haliburton is just shy of this line for the season (27.1 pts\/ast) but is coming off two straight years in which he averaged at least 20 points and 10 assists.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This line is more than manageable for him in a game where the Pacers should score plenty.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brooklyn does not guard the 3-point line well and Haliburton can burn teams from deep.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He&#8217;s averaging career highs in made threes and attempts, burying a combined 11 in his last two games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Edwards under 25.5 points (-120)<\/strong>: After torching the league for a month-plus, Edwards&#8217; scoring dipped considerably in December.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He scored 20.4 points per game, bringing his season-long average down by more than two points.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Minnesota Timberwolves star recently discussed having to distribute more as a result of double teams and then went out and dropped a career-high 53 points on Saturday.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But I&#8217;m not expecting another huge outburst tonight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Minnesota lost Edwards&#8217; 53-point game by 14.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Clippers are fourth in the NBA in defensive rating.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Edwards has played the Clippers twice this season, scoring 16 and 21 points. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>He&#8217;s 5-10 against this number in his last 15 games.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Picks made at 12:49 p.m. ET on 01\/06\/2025.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Stars Tyler Herro, Tyrese Haliburton and Anthony Edwards are featured in Monday&#8217;s top NBA prop picks.
