{"id":319467,"date":"2025-01-05T14:13:10","date_gmt":"2025-01-05T19:13:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cms.northstargaming.ca\/admin\/nsgcms\/?p=319467"},"modified":"2025-01-05T14:13:10","modified_gmt":"2025-01-05T19:13:10","slug":"kings-vs-warriors-predictions-january-5-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cms.northstargaming.ca\/admin\/nsgcms\/kings-vs-warriors-predictions-january-5-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Kings vs. Warriors same-game parlay predictions Jan. 5: Target DeRozan, Sabonis in +285 SGP"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Two California teams collide as the Sacramento Kings visit the Golden State Warriors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The pregame narrative<\/strong>: The Kings are playing some good basketball and I&#8217;m backing them in this +285 wager that also includes prop picks on Domantas Sabonis and DeMar DeRozan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Check out my Kings vs. Warriors same-game parlay predictions for Jan. 5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kings vs. Warriors predictions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"insights\"><strong>Go to full <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/sports-hub\/basketball\/nba\">NBA betting markets<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"cacheembed:105232\">Embed: #105232<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Parlay: Kings +3 + Sabonis over 5.5 assists + DeRozan over 22.5 points (+285)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Kings +3 (-112):<\/strong> I&#8217;m sure it may not sound like the best idea to back the Kings right now but I like this spot for a couple of reasons:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Warriors are playing the second half of a back-to-back (Steph Curry missed Saturday&#8217;s game and is a game-time decision on Sunday).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Kings are on a three-game winning streak.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Golden State has won two in a row so that can&#8217;t be ignored. But this is the side&#8217;s third game in four days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sacramento is the better-rested team and is playing well right now. The Kings are a talented roster on paper, and I predict their hot streak will continue following a disappointing start to the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">SGP legs<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong>Sabonis over 5.5 assists (-186):<\/strong><\/strong> De&#8217;Aaron Fox is officially a game-time decision but is being reported as &#8216;unlikely to play&#8217; by KHTK Sactown Sports 1140.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even with Fox, Sabonis has cashed this wager in four straight games and is 19-13 against this line overall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But if we look at last season, Sabonis had six-plus assists in six of the eight games Fox missed and averaged 7.8 over that span.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The other good news is that the Warriors allow the fifth-most assists to centres (4.7) per game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong>DeRozan over 22.5 points<\/strong> (-143):<\/strong> DeRozan is another player who will see an uptick in volume if Fox is sidelined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Friday, DeRozan scored 29 points on 10\/18 shooting. Fox played in that contest and took 23 shots. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sacramento will likely be lacking a shot creator on Sunday and the former Toronto Raptor is the best option to take on the added responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DeRozan has shot above 50% in four of the past five games. The extra volume will do wonders for his production if he can stay hot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was a No. 1 option for the majority of his career and shouldn&#8217;t have any issues with the added offensive load.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Picks made at 1:30 p.m. ET 01\/05\/2025<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two California teams collide as the Sacramento Kings visit the Golden State Warriors.
