I am also backing the home team on an alternate spread.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-4605d84a-f94f-453c-a11b-9c015351e1d2\">Check out my Timberwolves vs. Warriors same-game parlay predictions for Dec. 8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-4605d84a-f94f-453c-a11b-9c015351e1d2\">Timberwolves vs. Warriors predictions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"insights\"><strong>Go to full <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/sports-hub\/basketball\/nba\">NBA betting markets<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"cacheembed:102809\">Embed: #102809<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-d6e673fe-4aee-433b-9472-6e1a4b16caa8\"><strong>Parlay: Warriors +4 + Curry over 22.5 points + Edwards over 23.5 points (+310)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-8d40ddec-f295-441e-b03c-67e146f505f0\"><strong><strong>Warriors+4<\/strong> (-205):<\/strong> This game is basically a pick&#8217;em but I decided to buy points for the home side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It might seem odd as the Timberwolves beat the Warriors, 107-90, on Friday but I expect a better effort from Golden State. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Warriors are in a bit of a downward spiral at the moment but the Chase Center has been their haven since its inception in 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nothing has changed this season, here&#8217;s Golden State&#8217;s recent home results before Friday&#8217;s loss:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>vs. Rockets: 99-93 win<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>vs. Thunder: 105-101 loss<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>vs Nets: 128-120 loss<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>vs. Hawks: 120-97 win <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>vs. Grizzlies: 112-118 win<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>vs. Mavericks: 120-117 win<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Bad losses are rare for the Warriors at home and I&#8217;m confident they can bounce back and keep this game more competitive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-89a1765e-b418-46d4-b497-651bc59723d9\">SGP legs<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Curry over 22.5 points (-162):<\/strong> It&#8217;s encouraging and a little worrying how consistent Curry has been at landing right around this number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He is 6-2 against this line over the last eight but he landed right on 23 points three times and 24 points once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Curry is in a bit of a shooting slump, shooting 14-for-40 (35.0%) over the last two games but he still managed to cash this wager in both outings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Everyone knows Curry is a scorer in the purest form and he can clear this modest line even in a mediocre performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But on Sunday, I have a feeling he puts on a show at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Edwards over 23.5 points (-155):<\/strong> Let me flip over and talk about the other team&#8217;s superstar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a pretty low line for Edwards who just got out of a recent cold streak. He dropped 30 against the Warriors on Friday but went under this line in the three previous games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His recent spell wasn&#8217;t pretty. He had an eight-point performance against the Los Angeles Lakers followed by a 16-point outing against the Los Angeles Clippers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ant shot 8-for-27 in those games and played less than 27 minutes in each. That&#8217;s a rare occurrence for Edwards who averages 36.4 minutes per game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In games that Edwards played more than 30 minutes this season, he&#8217;s 16-3 against this line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-049eee7c-fa25-40b8-b13d-7bb92000f313\"><em>Picks made at 10:45 a.m. on 12\/08\/24.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Minnesota Timberwolves and Golden State Warriors run in back on Sunday.
