I&#8217;m also backing the streaking Miro Heiskanen in his game against the Winnipeg Jets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Check out my NHL prop picks for Dec. 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">NHL prop picks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"insights\"><strong>Go to<\/strong> <strong>full <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/sports-hub\/ice_hockey\/nhl\">NHL betting markets<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"cacheembed:102116\">Embed: #102116<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNTcxMDU0JnA9MjMxODU%3D\">Best bet<\/a>: Giroux to record a point (-120)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Giroux continues to be productive as a decline is seemingly nowhere in sight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The veteran winger has 17 points in 23 games this season. He was held off the scoresheet last time out, but Giroux scored a point in five straight games before that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And now he has a prime matchup against the middling Anaheim Ducks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Anaheim allows the most shots against per game (33.5)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Ducks have the seventh-worst penalty kill (75%)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Anaheim has been carried by elite goaltending all season long but those aren&#8217;t stats anyone can trust. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lukas Dostal and John Gibson are proving to be a strong tandem but the team has still allowed four or more goals in eight games this season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ottawa records the fourth-most shots on net per game (30.9), so I&#8217;m confident there will be loads of chances tonight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key stat:<\/strong> Giroux has 160 points in 187 games since joining the Ottawa Senators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quick pick<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNTcxMDU0JnA9MjMxODU%3D\">Heiskanen to record a point (-122)<\/a>:<\/strong> I made this pick on Friday and Heiskanen came through with two assists.
