Take the over on his outs prop and also back rookie Jackson Merrill to round out this +350 same-game parlay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-4605d84a-f94f-453c-a11b-9c015351e1d2\">Check out my <a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNTc4NzU5JnA9MjM3Njk%3D\">Padres vs. Dodgers predictions<\/a> for Game 2 of their NLDS matchup on Oct. 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-2b7a0cf0-527e-4adb-a17d-fee64f4b1869\">Padres vs. Dodgers SGP predictions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-d8495cb3-aeaa-4682-aa92-2aff9b7a2c48\"><strong>Full MLB postseason betting markets: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northstarbets.ca\/sportsbook\/sports-hub\/baseball\/mlb\">Click here<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-d6e673fe-4aee-433b-9472-6e1a4b16caa8\"><strong>Parlay: Padres moneyline + Darvish over 15.5 outs + Merrill over 0.5 hits  (+350)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-8d40ddec-f295-441e-b03c-67e146f505f0\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNTc4NzU5JnA9MjM3Njk%3D\">Padres moneyline (+118)<\/a>:<\/strong> San Diego took an early 3-0 lead in Game 1 and then Shohei Ohtani happened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-8d40ddec-f295-441e-b03c-67e146f505f0\"><a href=\"cacheembed:96567\">Embed: #96567<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-8d40ddec-f295-441e-b03c-67e146f505f0\">The expectant NL MVP blasted a game-tying second-inning home run and Los Angeles eventually held on for an 8-5 win. It was an impressive offensive output from the Dodgers but I can&#8217;t see a repeat with Darvish on the mound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The veteran righty has been solid for the Padres since returning from the IL in September, posting a 3.55 ERA across five starts (all wins). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Darvish&#8217;s career-long numbers speak for themselves as do his results against the Dodgers \u2014 but more on that later. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the other side is Jack Flaherty, who was traded to L.A. at the deadline. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Flaherty has a 3.40 ERA since joining the Dodgers but has been hit hard by this Padres lineup before. In 83 plate appearances, San Diego is batting .279 with a .515 SLG against the righty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">San Diego won the regular-season series 8-5 and I expect it to level the NLDS tonight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-89a1765e-b418-46d4-b497-651bc59723d9\">SGP legs<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-3c5e3af8-0d9b-4df8-8980-eb3815febeb3\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNTc4NzU5JnA9MjM3Njk%3D\">Darvish over 15.5 outs (+102)<\/a>:<\/strong> Let&#8217;s dig a little deeper into Darvish&#8217;s success against L.A.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-3c5e3af8-0d9b-4df8-8980-eb3815febeb3\"><a href=\"cacheembed:96569\">Embed: #96569<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-3c5e3af8-0d9b-4df8-8980-eb3815febeb3\">Over a massive 264-plate appearance sample size, Darvish has held this lineup to a .201 batting average and .344 slugging percentage. Those are elite numbers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ohtani is 1-for-5 against his countrymen, while future hall-of-famer Mookie Betts is just 8-for-40.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Darvish&#8217;s last outing against L.A. was superb. He allowed just two hits while striking out seven over 7.0 shutout innings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">San Diego went deep into its bullpen yesterday and would love to stretch Darvish deep into this game. That should be doable considering how good he&#8217;s been in the postseason for San Diego. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Darvish has a 2.88 ERA across four postseason starts for the Padres in 2022, clearing this line three times. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-d7efc3b6-0865-45ba-aad7-0580785d8914\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/online.northstarbets.ca\/page?key=ej0xMzUyNDU3MiZsPTEzNTc4NzU5JnA9MjM3Njk%3D\">Merrill over 0.5 hits (-235)<\/a>:<\/strong> Merrill will probably fall short of securing the NL Rookie of the Year but he would&#8217;ve been a slam-dunk winner most seasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-d7efc3b6-0865-45ba-aad7-0580785d8914\"><a href=\"cacheembed:96568\">Embed: #96568<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-d7efc3b6-0865-45ba-aad7-0580785d8914\">The centre fielder hit .292 with 24 home runs and 90 RBI this season. He was one of the league\u2019s best players post-all-star break, ranking 10th in batting average (.314) and 12th in wRC+ (159).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Merrill has only seen Flaherty once and is 1-for-2 with a double.
