49ers vs. Colts Week 16 TD picks: Bet on San Francisco’s Kittle, Jennings to score

49ers vs. Colts TD picks

The San Francisco 49ers and Indianapolis Colts square off in a pivotal Monday Night Football matchup.

The pregame narrative: San Francisco and Indianapolis are both fighting for playoff positioning. The former has a legitimate shot at winning its division (and potentially the No. 1 seed in the NFC) while the latter needs to stay alive. In a game full of superstars, which players will step up?

49ers vs. Colts TD picks

Best bet: Jennings to score a TD (+140)

Some wide receivers have a knack for scoring touchdowns.

Jennings has emerged as one of those receivers.

The 49ers star had six scores last season as he upgraded from a role player to a prominent part of the offence.

Injuries to Ricky Pearsall and Brandon Aiyuk have created significant opportunities for Jennings, and he is taking advantage.

-> Bet on Jennings to score at +140 on Monday Night Football

Jennings scored two touchdowns last week in San Francisco’s 37-24 win over the Tennessee Titans.

The connection between Brock Purdy and Jennings is too strong to ignore. Since Purdy’s return in Week 11, Jennings leads all 49ers in:

  • Red-zone targets (seven)
  • Targets inside the 10 (four)
  • Targets inside the five (three)

Indianapolis also profiles as a strong matchup for opposing wide receivers. The Colts are without starting corners Charvarius Ward and Sauce Gardner, and are allowing the most receptions to wideouts in the NFL (190).

Bet on Jennings to find pay dirt in primetime.

Key stat: Jennings leads the 49ers in targets inside the five-yard line (four).

Monday Night Football anytime TD prediction

Kittle to score a TD (+110): Like Jennings, Kittle is also one of Purdy’s top options in close.

Since Purdy’s return, Kittle is second on the Niners in targets inside the 10 (three) and targets inside the five (two).

-> See full 49ers vs. Colts MNF betting markets

Kittle notched a touchdown in Week 15, and he’s a good bet to return to the end zone in Week 16.

The Colts are struggling to limit opposing tight ends. Indianapolis is tied for ceding the sixth-most receptions (86) and fifth-most receiving yards (928) to the position.

San Francisco is short on receiving options. Kittle should be at the forefront of the team’s offensive attack and a top target near the end zone.

Giants vs. Patriots Week 13 Monday Night Football picks: Bet on New York to cover, Maye to run

Giants vs. Patriots picks

It’s a double Super Bowl rematch as the New York Giants and New England Patriots square off on Monday Night Football.

The pregame narrative: Many football fans recall the clashes between Eli Manning and Tom Brady fondly. Now, Jaxson Dart and Drake Maye carry the torch for these franchises. The two look to put on a show in prime time.

Check out my Giants vs. Patriots picks for Dec. 1, featuring a prop bet on Maye.

Giants vs. Patriots picks

Best Bet: Giants +7 (-112)

New York got some positive news in the quarterback room this week: Dart has cleared concussion protocol and will play in Week 13.

But his reinsertion into the lineup isn’t why I’m backing the Giants in this contest.

No, it has to do with some injury news from the Patriots.

New England has been one of the healthiest teams in the NFL this season, but it suffered a pair of significant blows in Week 12.

Left guard Jared Wilson and left tackle Will Campbell both went down with injuries and will miss Monday Night Football.

That’s bad news against a Giants team that can get after the QB.

New York is 12th in QB pressures this year (96) and eighth in QB knockdowns (39).

The Giants should be able to put pressure on Maye and make him uncomfortable in this contest.

Key stat: New York has covered or pushed this spread in three consecutive games.

-> Back the Giants against to cover at NorthStar Bets

MNF over/under prediction

Under 46.5 points (-110): There are a couple of factors that play into my under pick.

The first is the offensive line injuries for the Patriots. Maye is tied for the NFL lead in 20-plus yard completions with 45. The injuries to the left side of the line will make it hard for Maye to hold the ball long enough for those routes to develop.

-> Don’t miss out — Bet on Monday Night Football!

Expect that to negatively impact New England’s offensive output.

Secondly, the switch from Jameis Winston to Dart will also likely limit New York’s point total.

Winston’s free-wheeling style tends to lead to higher point totals, but losing that isn’t the only reason why New York’s ceiling is capped.

A big part of Dart’s game is his rushing ability. I don’t expect the young QB to take off much in his first game back from a concussion.

Expect Dart to rush less and for New York to score fewer points.

Maye over 21.5 rushing yards (-118): This is a fair line for Maye considering his performances this year.

Maye has topped this line in six games, and he’s fallen short of it in six games.

-> Bet on Maye at NorthStar Bets!

This matchup, however, presents a great opportunity to back the over.

Firstly, the Giants are allowing the second-most rushing yards per game to opposing QBs (25.2).

Secondly, the offensive line injuries should cause Maye to leave the pocket more than he likes and scramble.

Back Maye to use his legs in prime time.

Broncos vs. Commanders SNF Week 13 SGP predictions: Bet on Denver to cover, Pat Bryant to shine in +340 ticket

Commanders vs. Broncos predictions

The Denver Broncos hit the road to battle the Washington Commanders on Sunday Night Football.

The pregame narrative: Denver can get one step closer to locking up the AFC West with a win. Washington is having a disappointing year, but its offence is getting healthier. Expect a healthy helping of points in a primetime, cross-conference showdown.

Check out my +340 same-game parlay Broncos vs. Commanders predictions for Nov. 30, featuring Pat Bryant.

-> Join NorthStar Bets to start betting on the NFL.

Broncos vs. Commanders predictions

SGP: Broncos -5.5 | Over 36.5 points | Bryant over 23.5 receiving yards (+340)

Broncos -5.5 (-112): Denver doesn’t typically blow out its opponent.

In fact, the Broncos have failed to win by six-plus points in eight of their 11 games despite boasting a strong, 9-2 record.

There is one big reason why I expect a different result on Sunday Night Football.

-> Go to full Broncos vs. Commanders markets for Sunday Night Football

Washington can’t stop the pass.

The Commanders are 29th in passing yards allowed per game (249.5) and 32nd in opponent yards per pass attempt (8.4).

They’re the only team in the NFL ceding more than eight yards per throw.

Naturally, the Commanders are getting routed pretty frequently. They’ve lost by six-plus points in four of their last five games.

Embed: #121717

Sunday Night Football SGP picks

Over 36.5 points (-265): This is a pretty low bar for these two teams to clear.

Washington’s horrendous pass defence isn’t getting any better. Starting cornerbacks Marshon Lattimore and Trey Amos are out, leaving the Commanders very thin at the position.

Denver’s receivers should be able to dominate some advantageous matchups.

-> Don’t miss out — check out NorthStar Bets’ SNF prop markets!

Conversely, Washington’s offence should look better in this contest. The unit is getting back wide receiver Terry McLaurin, who has only played four games due to a quadriceps injury.

McLaurin’s return is a significant boost and should help Washington score enough to get this over the number.

Bryant over 23.5 receiving yards (-114): Lastly, I’m betting on Bryant staying hot.

Bo Nix has called upon the wide receiver more in recent games, and Bryant is delivering:

  • Week 8: Four targets, two receptions, 40 yards, one TD
  • Week 9: Three targets, two receptions, 20 yards
  • Week 10: Two targets, one reception, 43 yards
  • Week 11: Six targets, five receptions, 83 yards

Bryant has cleared this total in three of his last four games, averaging 46.5 yards per game during this stretch.

As mentioned above, this is a golden matchup for Denver’s pass-catchers. The Commanders are allowing the second-most receiving yards per game to opposing wide receivers (170.3).

NHL anytime goal picks Nov 29: Bet on Jets’ Scheifele and Kings’ Fiala to strike

NHL goal picks Nov. 29

A busy night from the NHL presents an 11-game slate with plenty of goal-scoring options.

The NHL goal picks pregame narrative: Kevin Fiala and Mark Scheifele are generating plenty of offence, making both great selections to score.

Check out my NHL goal picks for Nov. 29.

-> Join NorthStar Bets to start betting on the NHL

NHL goal picks Nov. 29

Best Bet: Scheifele to score (+143)

Scheifele didn’t make Team Canada at the 4 Nations Face-Off.

He seems determined to make the Olympic squad.

After finishing 17th in points a season ago, he’s tied for 10th this year (30).

Scheifele has 117 points since the start of the 2024-25 campaign, placing him fifth among all Canadian skaters.

-> Wager on Scheifele at NorthStar Bets

A large chunk of his production has come via lamp-lighters. Scheifele’s 52 goals in this time are tied with Sam Reinhart for first among Canadians.

His Winnipeg Jets square off with a defensively-challenged Nashville Predators squad. Nashville is tied for 30th in goals against per game (3.63) and is 31st in team save percentage (.868).

Scheifele enters this contest with goals in back-to-back games.

Fiala to score (+135): Lastly, I’m betting on a goal from Fiala.

The Los Angeles Kings forward isn’t scoring at the rate of the other players on this list, but he still has a respectable 10 goals through 24 games.

Fiala’s high shot volume makes him a compelling goalscorer candidate on most nights. His 23 shots are inside the top 25 in the category, and he’s 27th in Corsi for (145).

Somebody who directs this much rubber towards the net is a good pick to score, especially on a night like tonight.

Los Angeles hosts the Vancouver Canucks, who are the ultimate opponent for goal props.

Vancouver is tied for 32nd in goals allowed per game (3.72). Additionally, the team is allowing the most high-danger chances per 60 this season (14.3).

Fiala and the Kings will get chances to strike, and I’ll happily back the winger to be at the forefront of the offensive attack.

NHL anytime goal picks Nov 29: Bet on Jets’ Scheifele, Kings’ Fiala to strike

NHL goal picks Nov. 29

A busy night from the NHL presents an 11-game slate with plenty of goal-scoring options.

The NHL goal picks pregame narrative: Morgan Geekie continues to score at an elite rate, and he’s an excellent pick to deliver on Saturday. Kevin Fiala and Mark Scheifele are generating plenty of offence, making both great selections to score.

Check out my NHL goal picks for Nov. 29.

NHL goal picks Nov. 29

Best Bet: Geekie to score (+150)

It’s hard to ignore a goalscorer like Geekie at this price.

Bettors just have to assume that the forward’s breakout is for real. Geekie ranks among the NHL’s finest in several key markers:

  • 2nd in goals (18)
  • 1st in even-strength goals (14)

Geekie has 43 goals this calendar year, which is the most of anyone in 2025.

-> Bet on Geekie and the Bruins tonight!

He and the Boston Bruins stare down a juicy matchup against the Detroit Red Wings.

Detroit can’t keep the puck out of its own net. The Red Wings are 26th in goals against per game (3.44).

Their woes are largely due to terrible goaltending. Detroit ranks a brutal 30th in team save percentage (.871).

Geekie should take advantage of a plus matchup and deliver a goal on Saturday.

Key stat: Geekie has scored a goal in four of his last five games (six total).

Maple Leafs vs. Penguins prop picks Nov. 29: Bet on Sidney Crosby to shine, fade Rielly

Maple Leafs vs. Penguins prop picks

The floundering Toronto Maple Leafs pay the Pittsburgh Penguins a visit on Saturday night.

The pregame narrative: Father Time will have to wait another year before it claims the career of Sidney Crosby. The Pittsburgh forward continues to produce and is a great pick to beat his shot prop. On the other side, a pair of Leafs are great fade candidates in a tough matchup.

Check out my Maple Leafs vs. Penguins prop picks for the game on Nov. 29, featuring Morgan Rielly and Easton Cowan.

-> Join NorthStar Bets to start betting on the Maple Leafs

Maple Leafs vs. Penguins prop picks

Best Bet: Crosby over 2.5 shots (-118)

I’m a big fan of this pick tonight for several reasons.

Firstly, Crosby continues to defy the natural aging curve of most NHL players. The 38-year-old superstar has 15 goals and 25 points in 23 games this season.

-> Don’t miss out — bet on Crosby now!

Crosby is second on the Penguins in shots this year with 53, and he’s still the focal point of Pittsburgh’s offensive attack.

The offence shouldn’t meet much resistance against a Maple Leafs team that’s been all sorts of bad in their own zone.

Defensively, Toronto ranks poorly in some of the most important defensive categories:

  • 31st in shots per game (31.3)
  • 29th in goals per game (3.63)
  • 27th in scoring chances per 60 (30.2)

Simply put, the Maple Leafs look like the Washington Generals on most nights in their own end. I’m happy to back Crosby in a ripe matchup.

Key stat: Crosby has topped this total in three of his last four games.

Best NHL prop picks

Rielly to not score 1+ points (-120): Rielly is having a great offensive year. But tonight doesn’t profile as a great night for production.

The Toronto blue-liner has 18 points in 23 games, but he’s been pointless in two of his last four outings.

-> Bet on Maple Leafs vs. Penguins at NorthStar Bets

Additionally, the Penguins have been a surprisingly stingy defensive side this season:

  • 4th in goals per game (2.61)
  • T-4th in penalty kill rate (85.7%)
  • 4th in team save percentage (.909)

This is bad news for the Maple Leafs, who haven’t scored more than two regulation goals in six consecutive outings.

NFL Week 13 odds and betting lines: Joe Burrow eyes return as Bengals meet Ravens on Thanksgiving

NFL Week 13 odds

One of the best days on the NFL calendar is on the horizon as Thanksgiving Day kicks off Week 13.

The latest: A trio of games: Green Bay Packers vs. Detroit Lions, Kansas City Chiefs vs. Dallas Cowboys, and Cincinnati Bengals vs. Baltimore Ravens kick off the week. Sunda’s slate, meanwhile, is headlined by a contest between the Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Check out the latest NFL Week 13 odds below.

-> Join NorthStar Bets and start wagering on the NFL

NFL Week 13 odds: Betting insights

  • Joe Burrow is inching closer to returning. The Bengals QB got in a pair of full practices and was questionable to play in Week 12 before being ruled out. Cincinnati’s season hangs in the balance of Thursday’s game, making Burrow’s status for Thursday vs. the Ravens a must-follow story.
  • Detroit will have revenge on its mind in a crucial NFC North showdown against Green Bay on Thanksgiving. The Lions were embarrassed in a 27-13 loss to the Packers in Week 1, and now get a chance to return the favour while also keeping pace in the playoff picture.
  • The Buffalo Bills lost a physical game on Thursday Night Football to the Houston Texans. Up next? A fierce Pittsburgh Steelers pass rush led by T.J. Watt. Buffalo needs a win to keep pace in the AFC East, while Pittsburgh aims to stay first in the AFC North.
  • The Houston Texans suddenly have life in the AFC playoff picture. Houston has won six of its last eight and is coming off a mini bye as it toppled the Buffalo Bills on Thursday Night Football. It faces the Indianapolis Colts, who just played a physical overtime game with the Kansas City Chiefs.
  • The New England Patriots aim to extend their winning streak to 10 games on Monday Night Football. The Pats downed the Cincinnati Bengals in a tight contest, and New York is coming off an overtime loss to the Detroit Lions.
