How/where do I sign up?
You must be a registered NorthStar Bets customer, then login to your account at Northstarbets.com or the NorthStar Bets Canada app and opt into the NorthStar Blackjack Open promotion, start playing blackjack with hands of $5 or greater during the promotion period to qualify for rewards.

What are the key dates?
The promotion runs from 00:00 a.m. ET Oct. 21, 2024 through to 23:59 p.m. ET Nov. 24, 2024.
Weekly Leaderboard cutoff dates
Qualification for the weekly leaderboard opens/starts/begins at 00:00 ET each Monday and closes at 23:59 ET each Sunday of the promotion period.
What is the prize structure?
The top three (3) players at the end of each week will receive rewards as below.

Weekly Prizes will be paid out by 12:00 ET each Monday after the previous week has ended.
How are points awarded?
Players will earn an increasing number of points for consecutive wins on hands of Blackjack of $5 or more during the promotion period. Only cash bets will be considered a qualifying bet, bets using bonus balance or golden chips will not qualify.
Points are earned as follows:

Once a player has a losing hand in a round, they will accrue points again starting with 2 consecutive wins.
If a player finishes on the same points as another player, a tiebreaker will decide who has the higher position on the leaderboard. Tiebreakers are applied in the order of the below priority:
- The player with the lower number of total winning hands required to reach those points, is given the higher position on the leaderboard.
- If the above is also a tie, then the player who reached those total points first is given the higher position on the leaderboard.
Anything else I should know?
- Qualifying win is calculated as total win (win + stake of the winning bet) across all seats divided by total bet across all seats taken by a player. If a player receives a win (win + stake of the winning bet) within one (1) game round that is exactly equal to one time (1x) of the total Qualifying Bet, the game round will not be considered for the score calculation or considered a win.
- The above calculation is used to account for side bets, splits, double downs and pushes also.
- If a player has a consecutive win streak and receives a win (win + stake of the winning bet) equal to one time (1x) of the total Qualifying Bet, the Consecutive Qualifying Wins (as defined below) streak will be broken and player will earn points equal to that streak. Customers will then restart their Consecutive Qualifying Wins streak with a new win that is more than one time (1x) of their Qualifying Bet.
- Consecutive Qualifying Wins streak is defined as sequence of Qualifying wins by a player without any losses occurring between them.
- If a player fails to have a qualifying win, this resets their streak and they will earn points relevant to their highest consecutive win streak before that loss.
- Customers who choose to leave a leaderboard will forfeit their accrued rank and points upon leaving.
- Bets placed on all Blackjack tables except IGT Blackjack & IGT Blackjack with Surrender qualify for the promotion.
- In extenuating circumstances, payout of this promotion can take up to 72 hours.
- NorthStar is not responsible for technical or other errors howsoever caused.
- NorthStar Bets has the right to withhold or deny prizes, if a player is in breach of the Terms & Conditions of the promotion and other Terms & Conditions of the site.
- NorthStar Bets reserves the right to amend or cease this promotion at any time. NorthStar Bets also reserves the right to exclude any customer from this promotion should they be determined to be attempting to abuse the promotion, or if they breach the Terms and Conditions, or NorthStar’s Promotional Terms and Conditions.
